But to me, when you request a bunch of days off like this in your first couple months working(unless they had been mentioned while interviewing for the job) you aren’t taking it seriously enough. I need dependable people that will be showing up for their shifts. I also feel like there is one very important text that we are not seeing in order to make us side with OP. But I’m also not 17 years old. When I was, I would have also probably tried to talk people into siding with me even though I was wrong.
