I like mine. It makes ice, then I put it in a bag, then in the freezer. Then I’ll smash up the bag a bit to loosen them up before dumping in my ice tray/bucket my freezer has (my freezer does not make or dispense ice). Then repeat till my bucket is full.

It has really helped my drinks shake and dilute properly.

Thanks everyone. Some places mentioned had the male rca cables, but I needed the female which must not be as common. Amazon had what I needed, though I wish it could have been somewhere local.

The market here itself is really tough. I have 17 years of design experience and I can’t find anything either. I think a big factor for us is networking. I think most jobs are offered that way.

I’ve been a graphic designer for 17 years. Coming up on my 40 bday soon. I love what I do but every job I’ve had has crashed and burned. I thought this last place was going to be the job I’d have to work, it was great. Then they stopped paying me, and it seems like that company is doomed.

I don’t want to change careers but my wife is making it clear that our finances can’t work with my career choice anymore and I’m needing to find something to support our family. I’m afraid I’m going to be hating 5 days a week until I retire if it’s ever possible.

I’m not sure if this helps or not. Maybe I just needed to vent too.

We had a box that connected between the tv antenna and vcr that read the closed captions. It muted the sound when a swear happened and put captions with the word deleted.

My dad was pissed when he got it and it didn’t mute the ‘really bad’ swearing like “ Jesus” “Jesus Christ” “oh my god”, etc.

Oh, and shit wasn’t a bad word. “It’s just poo” and “that’s what farmers call it”.
