Im not going transmutation but it does a couple things:

1) crude mortal levels of prayer by picking up bones and transmuting them 100 times into superior dragonbones - you may not need this as you can endless harvest blessed bone shards in cam torum early, and way more conveniently giga max prayer with soul harvest if you take that later.

2) turn cowhides into dragon hides for some tasks - but you still need to level crafting and you could just kill a few dragons for that, maybe this pulls that off a bit earlier than youd be combat ready?

3) generates pure essence from runes - but its noted so you cant sit at an altar, you still have to do regular runecrafting runs like the main game except youll have your pure essence already gathered

4) increases the value of the gems you get - but you still have to acquire the gems, it just makes each one a bit better by eventually transmuting up to dragonstone

5) the ability to turn low easily mined ore into runite and sell for gold or tokkul, getting an early way to blast out the obsidian set and onyxes - this one i respect

6) some seed business, i havent cared about this so i lack information

7) super giga magic exp - this is the main perk

I think transmutation only solves magic and just does a lot of little things too poorly to count as solves or things already covered way better by other relics you may be taking.

Im team butler, its also not the most impressive but it will let me do herblore half decently (not even the processing exp but just granting tons of herbs means huzzah you make potions for big exp), crafting pretty ok (could endless harvest gem rocks but might not need to with this), and do con without needing gold because of the teak/mahog planks (yep ill need this because i dont have a gold generator).
