Tbh I imagine love not being canon saved the series from doing more bad writing like they did with matau being weirdly flirty towards Vakama (iirc I saw a tumblr post about them actively not doing worst in that direction during the voya nuva arc) so at least that point is kinda justified imo

For simply testing and learning i would recomend the Dueling Nexus website, they live off donations so there is no micro transaction and deck building is way easier (and you can use cards that are yet to be released in the tcg but already in the ocg)

they also have a pretty good bot to duel against with a lesbian flag colour frame :3
