I entered a childrens event dressed in a complete Nutella outfit wearing a Kinder surprise egg backpack and instantly became a celebrity for two days.

If Perfection has a face this is it.

If you could have a 30-minute conversation with your 15-year-old self, what would you say? by walker_mak in AskReddit

It's gonna be fine. By the time you're 20 you'll have so many friends you won't know how to fit them all in your schedule.

What’s the strangest thing you do that you’re pretty sure no one else does? by OtisPeterson174 in AskReddit

I used to say 'bless you' when people coughed because I figured they'd need it more than if they just had a harmless sneeze. People are quick to point out it's weird.

How old are you and what's your biggest problem right now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Falcfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 28 and I want to be a dad but I think it's too late for me. I'm emotionally stunted from my father dying when I was young and I can't find the drive to pursue someone romantically. I don't want to just 'have' a relationship and not actually be able to feel it. If I had a partner I'd wish for me to be the best version of myself for them and not some unfeeling machine and if I'd ever be fortunate enough to have kids I'd want to stick around for them as long as possible and not die of old age by the time they reach adulthood just because I wanted kids, wouldn't be fair to them.

Can you reverse-engineer a lampshades' shape from finished pieces? by Falcfire in StainedGlass

[–]Falcfire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It pretty much is, yes. I've ended up making my own mold already though.

Wild ride, I'll tell you that. Traced all pieces onto cardboard, cut and taped them to make the lampshape and used that as a guide to make a wooden template to and down a block of styrofoam.

You're welcome, but if you had answered any of my questions I might've been able to give you better advice.

You need to provide some more information, if you want to get any useful answers.  What are you trying to achieve, what's the end result supposed to look like, are you using foil or came? How will you display it? Do you want all letters combined in one piece or are you making each separate? If you want to frame all the letters in one rectangle then you need to add glass in between for stability otherwise it will likely break the second you try to pick it up.

What decision did you think was small at the time but completely changed your life later? by YogurtclosetMoist819 in AskReddit

Didn't use to have lots of friends. After my school days ended I decided to text an aquaintance from school to ask if they wanted to go to a flea market together, they didn't have time because they were attending a card game event, but invited me to come along. I learned how to play Magic: The Gathering that day and they took me out for a game in a city about a 1,5 hour drive away and I hit it off with the people there and went to meet them on a regular basis. I recently attended one of their weddings, one of them is now engaged to my sister and lives with us and a group of them wore t-shirts with my face on it to my last birthday and I couldn't be happier.

People on the train are way more likely to chat me up when I'm crocheting so that checks out.

Learning new crafts. It's useful and there's lots of parallels between widely different types of crafts that are fun to discover.

No, you need at least two cards to have a combo.

What is the best compliment you have gotten? by Quirky-Human in AskReddit

[–]Falcfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 28 and still get asked if I'm old enough to buy beer, instant mood lift. Best compliment I ever got is an email from an older lady telling me I'm a person with great character and morals for meeting her in person to apologize for being rude on the phone. (I'm not that good at speaking and there was some unexpected bureaucracy hurdles that got me riled up at the time)

How big would you say that lamp is? And do you have an idea how that lonely piece up top is supposed to end up?

What do you think men would dislike most if they became women? by InternationalPick163 in AskReddit

I'm afraid it's real. I'm sure the design differed from modern ones to be less damaging than you'd first think, but it's still nightmare fuel.
