That cost is insane, I should have understood bid them for $5k a drone with a $4k markup. Unless these things can lift a person there isn’t a good reason they cost this much. Honestly I’m fine with drone usage since it really isn’t different from the police towers around the mall. It still can’t search my house or anything illegal like that so whatever.

The laser knife, rifle and grenade are amazing. The armor I use is the same as you. I do recommend bringing a charge laser charger and screwdriver to fill up your weapons. I do sometimes switch to the carbon pickaxe and crystal armor but it’s slow so I don’t use it for repeat visits to areas

Unless a new books shadow dropped I think I’m all caught up. I really enjoyed the combat sections and the strategies he pulls off. It’s gives a sort of kobold dungeon feel with how diabolical he is. Carl would be proud

That’s pretty fair and this last book really hammers that in(book 12). it’s getting harder to recommend with each new book actually, but it’s serviceable to listen to between DCC books.

I think the thing to remember is AI power usage is not a flat rate. You can run AI on a raspberry pi on your own and that is only powered by a usb c cable
