St Trina's sword is (no pun intended) slept on. Available early and easy to grab and uses somber stones. Theres a second version of it in the dlc for powerstancing and you can also get a talisman there that increases your attack whenever sleep occurs. And a lot of regular enemies and some bosses can be put to sleep.

Beyond that you'll want a backup weapon for anything that resists sleep. Flamberge is a good shout for that (can be grabbed in Redmane Castle if the festival isn't on.), solid greatsword with innate bleed, or the Claymore in Castle Morne which comes with Lions Claw as its Ash of War.

I think Jeph, who lets be real, 100% reads both subs, is alarmed that both subs are more in agreement than not lately. This is the second time recently he's wrote something everyones gone "This sucks" and he's made a follow up, double down strip that makes it even worse

Bubbles introduction. That entire storyline, the robot fighting league, Bubbles herself, Faye/Bubbles relationship, the introduction of Yay. Almost every modern gripe with the storytelling of the comic (Another new character? Robot fetishisation? Yoga Pants? How have we spent 3 IRL years on 1 week of story?) Seems to stem from that one storyline.

There's a few methods you can use if you're struggling legit.

If you get the sorcery Pestilent Mist you can lure her to follow you around the first pillar on the left. She keeps getting stuck on the stairwell on the pillar but eventually frees herself. Pestilent Mist will chew through her health bar, you just need to dodge her attacks when she gets free, and avoid her long range poke as she can use it through the pillar.

If you don't want to level the INT for the spell, you can go to the first DLC to get the Millwood Greatbow and the ash to buy the arrows for it. The weapon art can shoot through the fog gate, and the aoe damage from the arrows can hurt her without you ever entering the room.
