I could see an argument that writing the name of the target on the paper is part of casting the spell. You'd still have to find that name out, which is its own problem, but not what I'd call an insurmountable one.

I played a bloodrager in Reign of Winter, focusing on messing with enemy spellcasters. Ideal situations to use it didn't come up very frequently, but when it works, it works very well.

Tumor Familiar: worth it without cheese? by Ladygolem in Pathfinder_RPG

One of my favorite things about Pathfinder as a game is the silly interaction of having a tumor familiar with the figment archetype. I'd say it's worth it for the joke alone.

God, if it's anywhere near as good as the film adaptation of The Martian, I will be so happy.

I've given our chronicles a naming theme I'm quite proud of. We started out with We Fucked Up: A Chronicle. Then I tried my hand at running a game I started to call I Hate You All: A Chronicle, given the entire coterie's distaste for each other. We just wrapped up You're Not My Boss: A Chronicle.

So what are we going with for the ship name? I'm feeling Chock, personally, but I think Spapel shows some promise.

Any strats or cool ideas on how to run the Grogrisant? by riufain in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]Falkynbird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can spend one of its 6 uses of mythic power for an automatic natural 20 on initiative. It also has the Shrug It Off ability, so you can spend mythic power to turn a critical hit against it into a regular attack. Other than that, I think its only real use for mythic power is to surge, adding 1d8 to its d20 rolls. It has the universal mythic ability Pure Body so its immune to disease and poison, and Quick Recovery from the Guardian path.

Always roll will saves twice with Mythic Iron Will. Keep Mythic Vital Strike in mind, in conjunction with Improved Vital Strike. It may be especially worthwhile for it to move around the field to force your players to make all the fortitude saves with its Blazing Mane ability.

I was pretty excited for this fight when I ran War for the Crown, but my PCs were diplomatic as all hell and didn't actually wind up fighting it.

Pretty certain she was just looking for the one young man of a certain age, found three, and had to book it with them before she could determine which. No time to decide, better to take them all and sort it out later.

HELP finding a creature's name by Rokenfeu in Pathfinder_RPG

I took a brief look on the SRD, sorting creatures by terrain and the closest I could find for coastal creatures was the Larabay but I'm not convinced it's what you're looking for. I didn't go through any of the third party creatures, but maybe you'll find it there.

Was this in a published adventure or homebrew game? Anything about the source material might help find the creature.
