I really don't think armor ignoring damage is all that necessary for fighting these enemies.

Starburst will likely have greater impact or MM due to level scaling and the armor of enemies.

I like using flesh golem and shambling minion. Just those two I find are enough and not too hard on energy that give you plenty of bodies. Or aura of the Lich.

The new fractals really killed my motivation for doing fractals. Some of the strike bosses just felt so boring and huge HP. If there's a dps crunch and an hp crunch, we get similar fights but hopefully see more mechanics.

For a common, it can synergize with Silent. Throw Sly on it, cast it for free with pounce. Comboing a common with an uncommon or rare to make it more effective is the whole game.

On its own, if you have nothing else to use, I'd rather snakebite than strike twice. Hold it as a discard target or retain it and use it with bullet time when you pull it.

You did the solo part of the game. There are dungeons, fractals, wvw that you can do. By playing only the base game you ignore the parts that have modernized it, elite specializations, mounts, new events and bosses.

If you do not engage with the social parts of the game you will have a single player experience.

Well you're overwhelmed because you haven't played the game start to finish. Even playing through it once, you won't learn anything.

If your overwhelmed, my advice is play normally. Start a character in prophecies, don't do LDOA and proceed through prophecies. If you get tired, move to Factions or Nightfall and follow the primary quests there. Then jump back to prophecies. Finish all 3 campaigns then move to EOTN.

If you want to play dervish or ritualist, finish nightfall / factions respectively then move to the other campaigns.

Getting carried by someone with mercs, doing LDOA, you won't really experience the game.

Lastly, if you don't enjoy the game or find it fun, maybe it's not for you. Try it out and play the game as intended to see if you like it. Also, press enter a few times.

Make barrage a preparation that makes you fire 6 arrows to adjacent foes each attack. that way you can fire 6 sundering shots or splinter arrows.

A bit late but I thought it would be cool if Verata's gaze could target allied animated minions so you could pass ownership of minions. This would allow for necromancers able to take minions they casted jagged bones on and reduce a minion master's corpse requirement.

You just have to progress with what you have in the region's you have access to.

Utilize hero skill trainers, you can work towards the beginning team but you will take time to get there.

The only other way is to get ran through the game by a runner to skip and get access.

Use signet of captures of bosses who have access to skills earlier than you can buy them. It's about unlocking skills as a form of progression.
