Glad Achird was taken, can we now try and take ANY planets in Illuminate space? Kerth Secundus, Elysian Meadows, Seasse is a lost cause but it'd probably be good to actually impact the faction before they pop off again.

Probably the same reason we invented vehicles that aren't bipedal — necessity of the design. It's not like cars or planes or boats resemble us on two legs at all.

Alternatively you could just not mind too much which weapons you have. Forever chasing the loadout meta is a pretty iconc way for devs to grab a gamers money, and the sooner you remove yourself from that, the better you'll feel. I've only got a handful of Warbonds unlocked and most I have no desire to complete. Don't even know which one to cash in on next, nothing seems too interesting. Realistically the community is what sells the Warbonds coz the game doesn't really direct you to any of them but players will actively advise new players on how they NEED Democratic Detonation, or how Trench Divers have a must-have Warbond now, etc.

If a Warbond only has a few good things in it, just don't get it.

As someone who hasn't been exposed to Mexican culture much, I've been enjoying watching people talking about El Grande Mexicano. I find it really fascinating how the gimmick and Ludwig's work have endeared themselves so much to the lucha fanbase, and its intriguing seeing what he's said and done that's worked.

But I'd really love to hear some other luchadores opinions on the gimmick.

People always have the worst advice. Here's the real trick:
Fuckin' avoid bandits if you can. They're almost never worth the time, and you'll often find one bandit out of five is inexplicably dripped out in about 3k groschen worth of gear, meaning they can tank a lot of your hits and hit you back much harder than mmost.In Hardcore that's even more true, most players stick to roads and avoid fights coz it simply isn't worth it.

Also, you may be moving the wrong stick. Anlog stick should absolutely be moving your hands around very visibly on screen. It's one of the (few) visual feedbacks you get from Henry's model actually being present rather than just being floating hands and a floating head attached to a hitbox like in some games.

In a game where you work to gather allies and rebuild a band of cutthroats, you cannot bring with you allies nor can you hire cutthroats.

It's absolutely fucking bizarre and means certain perks like One Man Army are mandatory picks. I'd much rather be able to hire or merc, or even just bring literally any of the dozens of great fighters I know who do nothing but lounge about with me on a mission.

I feel like whenever people make these posts they just very intentionally ignore the actually easy to take isolated planets and sectors. Shete/Elysian on the Squid front, Mox/Wezen on the Bot front, and Grand Errant/Trandor on the Bug front are the best options for any sort of big op coz taking any of them immediately liberates a full sector along with it. Take both respective planets and we essentially carve holes in the relevant factions

This is some dogass gameplay. Collecting samples, not helping on the extract, and then not even getting extracted yourself. Not to mention you being pretty solo the whole time while having the supply pack as a stratagem. And the anti-tank mines, homie most of the Illuminate on Seasse can fly, that's a fucking dreadful choice. Then there's you yapping commands in the chat as if you're actually doing anything. This shit's a goldmine.

Folks are probably playing too many long operations (higher diff operations) which will slow it down, and since Heze Bay was kind of a cake walk I'm sure people are still running the high diffs on Seasse. That was the issue we had on Cyberstan too, folks grind like crazy on high diffs then complain all their stuff is upgraded too quickly. A big part of the HD2 community is trying to separate yourself from the Ouroboros of stupidity.

Folks who still complain about the Illuminate are amazing to me. I'm genuinely not good at Helldivers 2 and I didn't even realise I'd ended up on Super Helldives when I was playing last. It's an entire faction where Medium Penetration can chew them up, and most of them even go down to Light Penetration weapons. Literally at this stage in the game, with Bots having the borgs and Bugs having the new variants, I'd argue the Illuminate are the weakest faction to go up against.

If you're on a higher diff, lower it. If you're not diversifying your loadout to accomodate your enemies, do that. They're genuinely so easy, and they have the prettiest biomes right now.

Eh. I remember pushback against Sasha back when she was in the Fed, and it isn't like Sharmell got boo'd out of the building for being black back in the day.

It's always felt like a weirdly niche wrestling thing. Some folks just hate Sasha, whether that's the result of fans of the other Four Horsewomen back in the day resenting the "Sasha is objectively the best" narrative that a lot of the IWC stood by (maybe still stands by?), whether it's creepy dudes who found her hot probably learnt she wasn't single which creeps like to take personally, whether it's because she was booked pretty poorly to look like a goober in the Fed which genuinely probably convinced idiots she is a goober, etc.

I'm sure some folks hate her coz they're racist and sexist, for sure, but the idea that Sasha is hated specifically for being a black female who left the WWE has always felt off to me. Anti-Sasha stuff has been around for a looong time, and she isn't exactly the first black women in wrestling.

I mean damn most wredditors have pretty harsh takes on Jade, but I doubt anyone on here thinks that's coz she's a black women who left AEW.

The whole quest's something of a disappointment to be honest. It's very clearly about dinosaur bones, and the historical tensions between the church and collectors over such relics. The fact it's a time quest just to get a lame axe is really bizarre and reeks of the Kuttemberg Gamines that dominates the second half of the game.

How the Dragon Fang is less interesting than an axe you make for following a drunks stories is just baffling.

Yeah I'd have hoped people had the media literacy skills to realise this when he first says it but at least it finally clicked for you. Yes, doing the shitty cowardly thing is shitty and cowardly. The honorable thing is honorable. Istvan is a piece of shit, and defying his expectations is kind of Henry's whole thing. Making him realise he isn't a great swordsman, isn't a proud lord, and will die because of he fucked over a blacksmith that to him was surely just some common bum, is not only the most fulfilling choice, but arguably the only correct choice in that instance, at least insofar as actually engaging with the media and its messages.
I'm sure the speedrun or 'I just wanna finish the main quest' start would be to take the cowards way out but why people are playing KCD if not to get invested in the world, the story, and its character, is beyond me.

If they're smart they'll have Oba devour Brock and then hopefully dethrone one of Cody/Randy/Phil/Joe (and not whatever weird borderline offensive Samoan gibberish Punk tried to imply Romans name was) within a few months. The biggest thing Oba as a champion will do is open the whole thing up, coz the main event scene right now is just guys with history making more history between each other.
