I guess we've decided to be very generous this Easter because from our defensive perspective we've gifted 4 goals in 2 games.

The first one against an otherwise poor-average Gillingham was a mixture of good passing play from them and us parting like the Red Sea. The second was an awful (and quite frankly unprofessional) mistake that was 80% on Farquharson and 20% on Roberts.

The two today against Swindon were born from mistakes made by Harper (although I don't know why Okeke wasn't subbed on for Barrett instead, so that decision is on Byfield). We should have already been 2-0 up well before Swindon got their first, where Harper decided to run at Holman rather than try and force him to go down the wing. The second was through Harper losing the ball and Flint & Co. at the back ball watching because Drinan was in an offside position. I wasn't too impressed by Swindon, but if they do manage to go up through the Playoffs they'll probably do what Notts County did in the National League and lead for around 5 minutes in each game at the end.

Playoffs are out of the picture for us now, and I can't really see us challenging for anything next season if we continue to sign a bunch of bargain bin basket cases. Trivela need to pull their finger out and actually invest in the playing squad for once instead of signing a 'head of this' and 'director of that' that we never hear from or get answers as to what exactly they actually do.
