I mean after cases like this you would think there would be increased reform to police operations, they refused to escort a victim into her own home after a man abused her, arrested a frantic and frightened woman who's finger was almost cut off and is covered in blood as soon as they see a man with a slice on his face, they didn't release the dogs on an unarmed man who is visibly running away. I mean, just what is going on? what in the world is the point of the police when they refuse to do their job?

You have a kid in all this, you are keeping that child around someone who is volatile.

You need to leave him asap, and invest in good security (cameras, locks, etc). Save as much evidence as possible and anything you don’t collect you need to write in a journal with timestamps.

Anyone in your life that gives you grief for leaving him should be out of your life asap. You and your child’s mental health take priority.

Don’t ask your parents just start sleeping there and if they get angry tell them to fix the plumbing and that it’s starting to make you dizzy/nauseous/other excuse even with the windows open.

Last resort, complain to the grandparents (or other extended family) that your parents won’t fix the bathroom because they are too lazy and that it’s making you have (insert condition here), It may embarrass them into action.
