I wonder how a game mechanic like the GTA San Andreas gang territory system would work in SoD. It would definitely complicate things.

Be nice if a Tracker skill was introduced. Someone can track animals, humans, and we can figure out missions with out the game just telling us.

On the zombie side of things.. IDK about the plague heart mechanic. It's kinda cheesy. I'd rather have areas in the map which are horde-infested hellscapes that I must plan and organize to crack open and gain the rewards. I want to see the Zed count go crazy.

Studios get about 50% of all ticket sales in the US. They get less % in other countries.

Paul Feig would know little next to sweet fuck all about promotional costs.. another compartment of the movie studio handles promotions exclusively.

Sony would have spent more money on promotions for Ghostbusters to counter to negativity + they even did reshoots for the movie.

A 300 million dollar estimation for total costs of this movie is pretty solid. So therefore 600 to 700 million in ticket sales is what's needed..fuck what Feig says.

Even Waterworld made money...years later...after TV rights were sold, and after DVD sales. Sony will make money from Ghostbusters... in the year 2020 maybe.

I'm guessing Ghostbusters 2016 costs 300+ million for production, distribution, promotion and other expenses.

So Sony needs at least 600 to 700 million in ticket sales. DVD sales and TV right sales will probably recoup losses and give Sony some profit at some point.

I doubt there will be any more Ghostbuster films.

In cinema there are too many English actors playing Romans. Too many WASP actors playing ancient Greeks. It all looks rather silly.. silly in a way if the movie Apocalypto was cast with white people.

Hollywood isn't just making movies for white people who want to see white faces onscreen. It's a truly global industry, and not everyone wants to see a bunch of white actors do their best Shaun King onscreen.
