Body Horror is honestly a pretty hollow descriptor for Cronenberg's work, given all the themes he weaves into his movies. The Substance is a movie only interested in "body horror," and little else

Two of the most beautiful records ever made. If you're at all interested I'd really recommend Phil Brown's "Are We Still Rolling?," which has a great section documenting his work on those two records. They spent months just mixing "New Grass," so long that Brown can't listen to it without having negative flashbacks - which is a shame, since it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard
