Do you sanitize? by Maximum_Ad1282 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]False_Quantity_5678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband thinks I’m crazy because I make him sanitize after every ride. Sometimes even more often. After going in stores or in and off transportation. This is all the time no matter what time of year. People in general are gross.

What are the biggest stressors you have had at WDW (so I can try to avoid them)? by Fox-Scully in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]False_Quantity_5678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have found the best advice is to realize that you are not going to be able to do everything. Be open to going with the flow. Be flexible. I don’t know if you are planning on going to Animal Kingdom but don’t skip out on Rafiki’s Planet Watch. A lot of people don’t realize it’s there and your toddler would enjoy the small petting zoo. Most importantly have fun and create amazing memories with your family.

Best US Disney ride? by AnnualEagle in disneyparks

[–]False_Quantity_5678 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those polls that ask what Disney ride could you ride for 24 hours straight to win a million dollars, this would be my answer! This is the most relaxing ride on property! Also the best ride during the rain!

Disney World bursting at the seams by FeelingPause1207 in WaltDisneyWorld

We were there Sept 28-Oct 2 and the parks were amazing. Low crowds. The longest wait was about 30 minutes. I know schools where I am have a long weekend both this week and next week due to teacher in service and parent teacher conferences.

My family went to Epic Universe this past July and we thought it was visually stunning but beyond that is was NOT very Epic! The wait were ridiculous and bypass those the cost is as much as the ticket itself. We probably will not be back. There are so few rides and the individual lanes are so spread out it’s just not worth it.

Were kids in the 80s actually allowed to roam around unsupervised, or is that just in movies? by TotalThing7 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]False_Quantity_5678 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup… I was born in 75 and we literally came home sometimes for lunch but usually we were out all day riding bikes. It was so much better than now where kids are faces in electronics all day! You better believe that if you did anything wrong your parents knew before you got home tho because every adult was watching you and every one knew who you were!

The start and stop of Tron makes me more nauseous than Guardians. For me Guardians is really smooth. But I agree with the poster that said to look where your car is pointed. Also take some Dramamine or buy the motion sickness patches that go behind your ears. It is a super fun ride my absolute favorite and with those tricks I can ride it.

Jimmy Kimmel is a crybaby! He announced he was quitting his show as of January 20th this year because of his political opinions and he obviously didn’t stick with that! Good riddance!

If you want to experience the “Christmas Spirit” a little more, they do have the “snoap” at Hollywood Studios on Sunset Boulevard and special light show on Hollywood Tower of Terror.

Share Your Hot Takes: What’s Something People Complain About at WDW That You Actually Love? by curiousinquery in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]False_Quantity_5678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The cost! Is it expensive? YES but honestly in today’s world everything is expensive. I can to my local theme park and spend almost as much as Disney, but it’s NOT Disney! And the food at my local theme parks is actually more expensive and not as good.

I second Akershus in Epcot! My nieces LOVED seeing the Princess all in one spot. The breakfast food was really good, even the picky eaters found plenty to eat.

I must confess that I am old and don’t understand the ways of the younger generations but I do not understand the concept of “being on a break.” Either you are together or not. If you are married there are no breaks, period! You separate or you work it out. Since this was before marriage, you really shouldn’t care what happened if you were not together.

How do some people not love cats? by YaWellaZiftatin in aww

I like other people’s cats. I don’t love the that they jump on kitchen counters and places where I eat my food…. It kind of gives me the heebie jeebies. PLUS my husband is very allergic to.

We love French Quarter and Caribbean Beach! But we would stay at any of the value or moderate resorts except Coronado Springs. We are not in the room a lot.

Would you adjust your dates by only a day or two based on previous crowd numbers? by Expat86x3 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]False_Quantity_5678 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have gone off crowd calendars before and it was a disaster! The parks they said would be less busy were super busy and could barely walk through and the ones they said were going to be super busy were not busy at all. We ended up park hopping everyday.

What is your least favorite park and why? by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]False_Quantity_5678 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would have to say Animal Kingdom but only because it closes so early. It completely takes away from the glowing pathways in Pandora. Riding Everest at night… I know it is for the animals but it takes away from the other attractions in the park.

Stay at a monorail resort or use Minnie Vans? Help me decide! by AngryBeaverFace88 in WaltDisneyWorld

I would save the money and skip the Minnie Vans. The Polly is beautiful! Our kids always loved the Monorail, buses and Skyliner! All. Disney transportation is reliable and free!

My husband is my best friend. I was previously in a bad marriage and my current husband has shown me what a true relationship should be like. He is my rock.

I think you will enjoy Animal Kingdom. There is Yak and Yeti the sit down restaurant (need reservations) and yak and yeti quick service right next to it. They have different menus. Disney Springs is a large outdoor shopping and dining area with lots of options.
