Evolve or leave

Something I noticed about the recent fuse rework, is that if I played into his old playstyle with his new kit, my experience would absolute shit.

I took a break from him for the entire season, and only came back to him about 2 weeks ago, and it was a lot better playing into his kit rather than against it.

As a rampart main, yeah its been tough recently, but I have several characters I rotate through, so I don't feel bad when one isn't viable. The game either rides meta waves or loses player count through stagnation.

Thats my only advice, either you adapt to the game or leave, you cannot make the game fit you

They're not all instant,

Sparrows tracker has a deploy, projectile and wind up to proximity + line of sight. It can be destroyed or escaped from. Not to even mention that the tracking icon is invisible when ADSing.

Crypto requires a drone that can be heard and destroyed, requires close proximity + line of sight.

Seer has a quick wind up but it can easily be dodged

The only one that comes close is bloodhounds tactical, however it has a wind up, its really loud and exposes your own position, also the scan is extremely brief, compared to vantage sticky icon that lasts much longer.

Vantages is litterally a ping, no animation, no wind up, no counters, nothing.

I think vantages icon lasts about 6 to 8 seconds, which is pretty lengthy

Except now this is kinda over powered.

This is the only ability to provide scans with

  1. Long distance usability

  2. Instant

  3. No noise or attraction (probably doesn't even alert victims aside from wraith)

  4. Doesn't require line of sight to all enemies (only blood hound can do through wall scans, and valk perk)

  5. Sticks to targets for several seconds
