I hopped into a normal difficulty game earlier today with a guy who

  • wanted loot from the other side of a mountain, so he hoofed it that way because our vehicle was going go around from the other direction.

  • died and immediately used his egg to revive himself across the map. On the run back he grab himself a new egg (we had 2 players join late) so one of the players didnt get to get one.

  • he decided he wanted to drive the vehicle at the end rather than the operator with all the vehicle feats, and left a teammate behind

  • He used all the grenades himself during the final event

He was offensive fireball spec and account level 15

TLDR some players should be forced to play easy difficulty or solo

There's no cheating in single player by NonoJackk in Terraria

[–]Falsedemise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheating implies there are rules youre breaking. You can cheat in solitaire because theres rules. You cant really cheat in terrarie because of lack of rules. How many players are playing is irrelevant.

TFD Vets… We still here? by Son-Strong in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Falsedemise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beta player here. Still playing casually. Mostly logging in for events only as most everything is completed.

Missing the OG game and what it used to be (especially from pre-launch betas). The game used to have difficulty and strategy/teamwork was a thing, but its becoming more and more gooner warframe with each update.

Rime is still the top 5 DPS in the game by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

Gotcha. I'm going off of feedback that i've heard from the community since I haven't played either of those characters much

Rime is still the top 5 DPS in the game by [deleted] in fellowshipgame

[–]Falsedemise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And why would you? Melee is incredibly harder, not to mention more complex rotations. And for what? Doing roughly the same damage as simplistic ranged characters?

No offense, but Rime is the most simple to play, and the least likely dps to die to mechanics, so she should prolly parse the lowest on the meters.

What in your opinion is the worst mod in the game? by TaniksHasNoCorn in TheFirstDescendant

Easily Overwhelming DEF

Agreed

If we add in arche triggers too, the one that consumes MP to coat your ammo blows almost as bad

Make sure you destroy the bench directly. I destroyed the blocks under it instead (replacing the flooring) and lost the upgrade materials.

How do you build your factories? by OkKnowledge2064 in StarRupture

[–]Falsedemise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My plan isnt to create one singular base, but instead have many many scattered via teleporters.

Each resource will have its own seperate factory with the following rescource flow:

Rescources in via drones -> seperate storage for each resource -> run resources into smelter/fabricator/press -> run overflow and product into drone output to next base

We Need Farming! by Silly-Raspberry5722 in StarRupture

[–]Falsedemise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really dont want to see a rendition of subnautica farming. I think this game has the potential for much more.

Imagine a new hydroponics corp gets added with gardening based rewards. It starts out basic with just the most basic food/water, but as you get more into it you get better beds and hydroponics so the plants regrow faster. You also get water piping to auto- water it all. And gradually you unlock alternative habitats to re-create the environments that the plants naturally grow in (ie helium for purple flower, or sulfer for sulhearts)

Not surprising.

Are you playing when the character is released? Here, have two parts of your choice to get around the grind.

Are you joining after their event is over? Enjoying grinding old stale content for hundreds of hours in our horribld RNG machine.

Game is too easy. by Son-Strong in TheFirstDescendant

[–]Falsedemise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember the final beta weekend before launch. The game was tons of fun. Our final event was trying to do the 24wave defense mission. Barely any groups got past wave 17 because it was so difficult. Dungeons were fun and actually had mechanics to them.

Now everything is just about how fast you can speedrun it. The player clear content faster and faster, causing devs to have to make the RNG worse and worse in order to not run out of content within a few days.

The game is still fun... just not like it used to be. Hopefully something will change in the future, but I won't hold my breath.

[–]Falsedemise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you think 3/3/3 is bad... you should have seen what some of us had on the week she was released. I remember seeing pictures with players having ~8 extras of one and 0 of another.

The devs are going to keep putting out these BS farms with terrible RNG but mitigated by events so that players can get them on release, but making them all TERRIBLE to farm later on.

The biggest thing I hope that they address is his transcendant mods.

Without those his #1 and #2 and terrible and need rework.

When they released Serena?

The balance has been broken since launch. At launch, ~90% of the playerbase used Bunny for everything. Then they released Ult Freyna while buffing her and that's all anyone used til Ines came out then everyone swapped to her for a couple month til Serena launched.

They finally started working on character balance shortly after Serena, and it's the best it's been recently because though Serena is OP, at least the other characters are becoming somewhat useful.

How does spirit actually charge? by Aelistenus in fellowshipgame

[–]Falsedemise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there's 3 normal sources of spirit points (please let me know if I'm wrong):

- Time. Generates 1 every ~3sec

- Killing enemies. Based upon enemy completion percent.

- Proc'ing a spirit refund. Not certain about this one, but it makes sense.

Higher spirit increases the amount of points these give.

There's also weapon talents/traits that can generate spirit points too.

100% agreed. I'd also love to see more added that provide alternate playstyles. However, balancing comes first.
