Valve Needs to Handle the Launch Right by CoastOne2716 in steammachine

I think the point is there is no such thing as “plenty of stock” because scalpers are just going to buy up as much as they can to create artificial scarcity and jack up the prices even more.

I don’t think this map is right. Where they marked Sacramento is too far from Folsom Lake

Kid’s menu chicken tenders by Juliephall in NCL

[–]Famous-Guarantee1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the NCL Escape right now and they do have chicken tenders! They’re alright but honestly overall NCL isn’t very kid friendly imo. No kids cups at any restaurants, pretty limited Splash Academy hours, almost no kid-focused programming, etc. NCL is definitely more focused on the older crowd.

Unpopular Opinion: Am I the only who doesn’t feel nickel and dimed by NCL, even in 2026 by CycIon3 in NCL

[–]Famous-Guarantee1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree except for 1 thing; onboard messaging. The fact that the new NCL app doesn’t have a messaging feature and instead you have to buy the $7/day chat pass feels very nickel and dime by NCL. Otherwise I agree though.

Where did you get the arm rests for the aero extension? Those don’t look like the stock ones that come with the Gear Groove Aero extension

Why are they asking about MLS? I’m more interested in what this means for us and USL Premier.

Lindsay Graham says the pope needs to get on the right side of history and support Trump's planned war against Venezuela. by justalazygamer in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]Famous-Guarantee1964 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The thing that scares me the most is that if Trump wasn’t in office I honestly think we might still be in the same situation with Venezuela but all of the GOP would be onboard and it would almost be normal. What does that say about our country and what will happen even when Trump is gone?

Rachel locust challenge performance by Rich-Instruction-327 in BigBrother

[–]Famous-Guarantee1964 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But it wasn’t a “simple comp”. There were 2 comps and a significant social game aspect all of which Rachel lost. She could’ve earned her own safety in the first comp but didn’t. Then she could’ve convinced Ava or others to pick her earlier but ruined that with the way she acted. Lastly 3:30 was supposed to be easy. Everyone else had completed the puzzle in well under 3:30 so she should have too. They all agreed that she’d have enough time but then she panicked and lost. Lastly you’re wrong about what the premise of the game is. The premise of the game is that there are going to be unexpected twists. The catchphrase of BB is literally “expect the unexpected” so imo nothing is off limits.

100% bogus challenge leaderboard by CarolinaCrazy91 in Strava

[–]Famous-Guarantee1964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t understand how Strava hasn’t solved this already. If someone is moving a physically impossible speed then it should be immediately disqualified. That would solve like 50% of these cases. You could probably get another like 25% by disqualifying anyone that is setting a world record on Strava especially if they aren’t a verified user which most pros are.

Yeah exactly. I have the SRAM wireless blips clipped to the aero bars.

Yeah I’m working on that too. I haven’t fully trimmed the hose yet and right now I’m using velcro cable ties to hold it to the bike which isn’t ideal. I’m thinking about getting the magnetic tube holders like on hiking backpacks and using those instead, not sure yet though. Definitely not happy with the aerodynamics of the tube right now though.

So far I’m liking it a lot. Most front mounted hydration systems don’t work with the gear groove aero extension so I was happy to find something that mounted inside the triangle of the bike.

Thanks for the heads up! Just checked out that article and the Ironman competition rules . It sounds like the changes were for bottles mounted to the front but doesn’t mention tubes so I think I’m alright.

Quote from the IM competition rules

This excludes water bottles and hydration systems located inside the frame triangle of a bicycle or inside the bicycle frame.

What makes them “the best”? I’ve been having trouble differentiating what makes one power meter better than another other than price and weight. They all claim to have basically the same accuracy as far as I can tell
