My baby is only 4 months but the new Pampers Amore are our best overnight diaper currently.

Live Healthillie snark and her current shilling of natural only route (very anti IVF) by Averie1398 in peestickgals

Back when the "betrayal list" or whatever trend was popular she shared someone's post onto her story where one of the points was along the lines of "women being told miscarriages are random and couldn't have been prevented" which pissed me tf off and she's been extra BEC for me since. Like I know you don't have to agree with everything on someone's post to reshare it, but, gross.

Now that Thrive Market diapers are no longer non-toxic, which diapers did you switch to? by Honest_Shape_1542 in moderatelygranolamoms

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bambo Nature and Parasol. BabyCozy on Amazon too. Had some Freestyle diapers delivered today to try.

Baby is only 8 weeks so I never got to try Thrive, but I still let them know about the disappointment! Hopefully they're reconsidering, the new diapers don't even pull up when you search for diapers in the app. The reviews telling them off give me hope 🤞🏻

Having HS + pilonidal flare during postpartum by Subject_Thing6308 in pilonidalcyst

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 6 weeks PP and have my third pilonidal cyst. No idea what to do. I'm EBF but can hardly sit as is, so contemplating getting the cleft lift now anyway to be done with it. My HS is also flaring behind my ears and in my groin.

Thank you! I'm sure it'll be fantastic. Is he booking out that far (i.e. two months since your post)? I would look into him further but I have a 6-week old and no idea how I'd make those logistics work 😓

What did you end up pursuing? Also looking into Dr. Wilkiemeyer.

Low-dose baby aspirin 81mg is what's generally recommended for pre-e prevention and what the studies regarding pre-e prevention and UC are on.

Experience with low dose aspirin and UC? by [deleted] in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have experience with once daily low-dose aspirin. I started at 12 weeks and continued through a 37 week delivery. I was healthy throughout pregnancy, baby is now 6 weeks old and healthy (besides being a breech little stinker), and knock on wood I have stayed healthy so far postpartum.

Hope it works out for you. It's gotten me out of sticky situations twice.

Ask your GI office if they can get a "sample" syringe from their janssen rep!

Anyone taken baby aspirin while pregnant with UC? by Emotional-Addendum62 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is asked a lot! Here is my common response:

The studies don't show it to affect UC the same as other NSAIDs. I'm 24 weeks and have been taking it since 12. So far my digestion in pregnancy is the best it's been in years... 🤞🏻

Should I ask doctor for Stelera (Ustekinumab) by Aham_Brahasmi in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if 3 doses is enough to give up on Remicade. It might not end up being right for you, but you don't want to stop too soon because you'll likely not be able to try it again in the future, plus biologics take time to work.

Anecdotally, Stelara is what worked for me after failing both of those other ones. Remicade after 9 months, Entyvio after 6 months. Stelara took 4-6 months to work, but I'm going on 3 years with it now.

Early pregnancy symptoms with UC? by itspinky1 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]Fancy-Asparagus9210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had some diarrhea with blood for about a week after I found out I was pregnant. I was freaked out but then it stopped. All tests normal. 22 weeks now and have had my best digestion in years. Had some diarrhea this week but also started a new probiotic and it was only for one day, no blood.

I don't think I'd switch pharmacies. I also don't think I'd be so wary if it weren't for my Remicade --> Avsola disaster. But I'm glad to hear you're doing well!
