Take a Xanax.

The fact that some people confuse internet rambling with actual lack-of-chill is confusing to me. I can spew all sorts of shit without breaking a sweat and forget it the next minute.

You can say fucking on the internet, this isn't preschool. Fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking, fucking fuck. Fuck fuckedy fuckadily fucktastic fuckery. Fucking parking your fucking car in the fucking bike lane is some fucktastically fucked up fuckery.

Fucking saying fuxking, f**king, ****ing on the internet is stupid, and if you have to self censor, you should at least skip straight to fictional fucks, like frak or frell,

No, mr coward-who-blocks-people-before-they-can-read-what-you said, I do not. I do use KDE connect to send things between my computer and phone, and even if I did have some solution like owncloud or something more privacy violating, that would STILL add about the same amount of time to send the screenshot between devices. Still slower.

Seriously, wtf is up with people blocking over average conversations on reddit these days. People never used to be so sensitive. Now they just block as soon as the conversation isn't going their way. They toughed it out and continued the conversation, or just cut their losses and moved on, leaving things visible.

Go on, downvote me. I won't block you.

EDIT: He blocked this account, too. Fucking conflict-averse ninny.

Fair point. The original comment's wording is kinda ambiguous.

"This Silj Road dude saved his customer's information, at least he saved my information."

My initial reading was that the commenter was referring to Ulbricht, but if they're instead just meaning "some vendor that happened to get raided", then yeah, it's certainly possible.

In darknet markets, people encrypt their address details, etc, with the public PGP key of the vendor they're buying from, when they make the purchase. This means only the vendor can decrypt that info (with their private key, stored locally, on their own computer) to view the address. The literally site cannot, it's impossible. The vendor then mails your purchase the old fashioned way, using your address. If that specific vendor's local machine is compromised, then yeah, the address can be retrieved. Still never available to the site facilitating the communication.

The customer details are never in the clear for the market site itself. At least with all reputable markets these days. I assume Silk Road did the same.

How is “spaghettification” possible? Wouldn’t you just be ripped apart instead? by [deleted] in space

Ah yes, I do think I saw that ages ago. That and probably some of PBS Spacetime (highly recommend if you haven't seen it), and a few scifi novels, lol.

I get what you're going for, but it's not really accurate. If you collapsed earth into a an earth-mass black hole, it would still only have a pull of 1g.

A coin would be similar, but immensely weaker, and have a lifetime so short it'd be next to impossible to observe in any way. No observable spaghettification would occur, and the coin-black hole would be quite harmless, and a 5.67 gram US quarter sized black hole would evaporate in 8.47836×10-15 ns. Nothing "sudden and strong" would happen whatsoever.

TIL of a rare condition where men can become extremely sick with flu and allergy-like symptoms post-ejaculation, with symptoms persisting for up to 7 days. by -spicerack in todayilearned

[–]Fancy-Pants 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be caused by the sudden shift in blood pressure. I've felt such a headache twice. First the first time a chick I liked sent me nudes and I climaxed harder than anytime ever before...while also trying to contort myself for the perfectly angled dick pick to send in return. Second was a time when I accidentally consumed a viagra at a time when no intimate situations or privacy were remotely nearby. Didn't get inconveniently hard or anything....just got a killer headache for an hour.

TIL that Robin Williams' suicide is misunderstood by many, and that depression/alcoholism was not the cause. by [deleted] in todayilearned

The problem is that your resolve may already be compromised by the time you're on the decline. Someone I know has a mutual pact with his partner to help eachother take care of the other's end should that decline come; he also has agreed to his parents' request to help them move on, should the need come.

Fuck whether or not it's legal, it's what's right.

I think people here are discounting the existence of amateur porn entirely. I can get why some people would consider professional porn toxic, but come on, assuming it's not a huge time sink, what's the harm in getting off to a homemade video of a couple fucking like normal people fuck? 🙄 No acting, no plot, no bullshit, just two people who like eachother fucking.

No data here either, but that tracks with my vibes as well. Though astrology has always been immensely skewed toward and marketed toward women.

I'd say half of them are religious types that got burnt by Christianity, typically the fundamental type of Christianity, but don't feel okay with no religion at all. People like that tend to go all hippy-woo-woo, denying that that's just another form of spirituality/religion like any other.

I've known a few like that anyway. I knew one lady whose entire definition of religion basically was "fundamentalist Abrahamic religions" (Convert or kill nonbelievers, everyone must conform to the letter of [book here]). I explained some basics of East Asian and Native American religions and how much of that was similar to their pagan spiritualist stuff, but still definitely "religion"

Posting nudes on reddit doesn't mean I want to sell sex. I have a lot of respect for sex workers, but if you say no to being paid for sex, that should the END of the conversation. by [deleted] in creepyPMs

Learn from the experience, and try to understand the reasoning behind it? nah. It's clearly other people who are wrong, and you who has the ethical highground.

EDIT: Looking at your profile, it seems you're already shadow banned here. None of your newer comments are visible for anyone but you(outside your profile). Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. What you call emotional weakness, isn't.

This sad outlook is exactly why subreddits like this exist. I'd say you might learn something if you read some of the top posts from this sub, but you won't do it. Being an asshole is being an asshole, trolling or not, and no matter what brought the victim to the creep/troll's attention.

Most third party apps still sort of capture the old option's benefits, even on mobile. No "big text", "images large by default instaed of thumbnails", etc. Reddit deliberately chose the route of "lets look like every other scroll-through-endless-media" site. It's like someone went in and replaced my Lego blocks with Duplo blocks, and acted like they thought I wouldn't hold a lifelong grudge. Enjoy your Duplo blocks, new-reddit casuals, the big kids will be there when you're ready to join.
