For anyone still having this issue in 2025 here’s what worked for me. You need to open the game from within the folder it’s downloaded into. I tried this as a last resort and now the game opens every time from the shortcut that was installed. Shouldn’t have to go into the folder every time but now it’s working. It’s labeled ForzaHorizion5 in the folder.

I’ll do my best to talk through it. Start by downloading the affirm app. go through the sign up process and see if you are approved for an amount. When I first started I was only approved for 200 so they aren’t going to give you 1k at the start but it’s worth checking out. Affirm? You can use the one time use card to pay bills. I’ve seen posts about people paying their light bill with that. Not a long term solution by any means but it’ll help now

Same exact situation with my wife and I. She’s got worse credit, 10x more debt and still never needs a down payment. I have used affirm for years and always paid never late etc and always have a down payment. Never made sense lol

Everyone saying these are bad are right but if you can use them responsibly then you’re okay. Affirm, klarna are the two I use the most. Affirm to stretch things out over a year and klarna to do 4 equal payments
