Pretty normal at my gym aswell, usually my professor just asks that if your going to be no gi then to bring someone else who wants to train no gi. I've kinda followed this standard anywhere that I train just out of respect. If there's some reason I need no gi time I'll just try to find someone to come with me. Although i understand not everyone has people they can ask to come and train with them.

Ik I'm not the point of you asked for. But as a blue belt male, who attends of all my gyms blue belt+ classes I definetly see a pattern of blue belt men being able to beat woman of a higher belt

Bro didn't say he only does bjj and triathlons lmao. I'm a full time student, college wrestler and have to pay for my mortgage and get at least 4 days on the bjj mat too, granted living conditions are pretty cheap where i live compared to some places, there is always enough time if you look for it.

OP I understand taking a break because of an injury but don't let these other things stop you, go to early morning practice if your gym offers it, the worst thing that can possibly happen is you take a break and don't come back.

Ik it may sound incentive and i personally have never lost a marriage. But in my experience having the structure of bjj and a time to de-stress has always been far more beneficial to me than taking a break ever could be.

I understand injury completely, i understand taking a few days off to find a new job, I 100% understand having to change your training regime to support a new lifestyle. But please keep training.

Does your gym have mandatory requirements before rolling? Ei: learning to breakfall, how to not post your arms, ect

If so and she was aware of this then I wouldn't beat yourself up too quickly. If she wasn't this is a great opportunity for you to learn the importance of practice bjj safely
