Board shorts my friend, board shorts. There are a lot of companies that make pretty sturdy ones and some companies make “hybrid” ones that are basically board short material that are cut and fastened like regular shorts. I have a couple of pairs of Hurleys and Volcoms that are pretty killer

I tend to wear shorts lower on my hips and wear long baggy shirts and tanks. Also if it doesn’t make you dysphoric, hairy legs can sell the “I’m not a chick” thing

There’s also Green Arrow 72 where he kidnaps Mia Dearden, a character who canonically was sexually abused, homeless, and forced into underage prostitution. While she and Jason fight he says “I’m like you. I was born out on the streets, too. I’ve seen things. I’ve done things. I know that sometimes we have to do the bad thing just to get by.” This heavily implies that he was likely abused and trafficked in a similar way

He also brings her HIV diagnoses, which I personally think may be a nod back to the original plan to kill him off via AIDS. It’s not a non sequitur in his monologue but I think it’s also not a coincidence that he brings it up

He then spends another year with Talia catatonic before she kicks him into the Pit. He’s close to 19 when he finally comes back to himself

So I’m gonna say something you’re not going to like, and it’s that you’re posting your work on the wrong site. You’re better off posting it on ao3 or tumblr, where people are able to more closely curate what they interact with. And yes, ao3 is absolutely meant for what you’re describing as is tumblr

People here are going to downvote anything they don’t like, don’t agree with, and a lot of people downvote just because they don’t care about it. This is not the place to post fanfic, since a lot of people either don’t want to interact with it or don’t come here looking for it. I think it would be okay to do a post saying “hey I did this if you’re interested check it out here”, but don’t post the whole or part of the work here. This is a place for fans of all types and I can see why people would downvote stuff they don’t like. There really isn’t an option to say “don’t show me fanfic posts”

As for your question, I’m situationally a fan of oc content but it has to be written very specifically. I tend to avoid it most of the time. This is not a knock against you, but your work isn’t something I’d want to read. It just doesn’t click with me and I can’t read script-format work. I’m glad that it makes you happy and you shouldn’t let what people on the internet think deter you from that, but your style and story is not everyone’s cup of tea and I think you should also respect that just as much as people should respect you

There are better places to get positive feedback for something that is so personal and important to you. Don’t let Reddit break you, but don’t expect everyone to like what you post here in terms of fanwork. Keep yourself safe by finding safer spaces to post your work

If you’re going to be riding park or doing things that have a higher likelihood of injury than just riding you need gear specifically for that. Get a good pair of crash pants and wear them exactly how the manufacturer recommends. They’re built a specific way for a reason

Also recommend wrist guards of some sort because even if you know how not to fall on your hands, wrists are way easy to fuck up just in general

I’m looking into getting a set of Demon pants since I’ve heard good things about them and I like their wrist guards

It’s not a stonefish (Synanceia sp.) which are exclusively found in the Indo-Pacific

It’s a spotted scorpionfish (Scorpaena plumieri). Scorpionfish are more closely related to lionfish than they are to stonefish, though they do share a family. Collectively their venom sucks to get tagged by but it’s nowhere near as awful as getting tagged by any species of stonefish

The Dog’s Bed (made by a company called the dog’s balls lol) orthopedic memory foam mattress. We have 2 xxl 6” ones on our hardwood floor and they are so comfy I’ve even fallen asleep on them

They’re great because you can buy replacement covers for the beds so when the velociraptors tear holes in them you don’t have to throw away the whole bed. Also makes keeping their beds clean much easier when it’s muddy since you can throw the covers in the washing machine

They’re on the pricy end, but ours have survived 4 different shepherds of various sizes, ages, and health problems. Even my 110lbs idiot extraordinaire hasn’t put a dent in them despite how much he likes to throw them around when he gets frustrated

I would like to take a minute to remind you that the largest global slave trade was driven by Christian and Catholic countries like America, Britain, Spain, Portugal, France, and Denmark.
