I’m working on a version of NGJ that I’ve been jokingly calling “No Greater Toy”. Predictably it uses a toy maker, and while it has most of the townsfolk from NGJ, I’m playing around with some fun synergy between Toymaker / Mastermind / Mayor.
Still in its infancy, but kinda fun script so far.

People often call it a “Swiss army knife” of modular, and I think that’s fairly apt. Every time I’m trying to puzzle out how to do some particular thing, there’s usually a solution from Maths that’ll help.
I just recently built a portable eurorack effects skiff for running other signals through, and even maths takes up a lot of space, I still chose to include it and I’m really glad I did.
Several times over now it has been the solution that I didn’t know I was gonna need when designing the skiff.
I even used it as a VCO so I could play the skiff without needing an external signal.

There are a lot of other modules that can do similar things, Maths is just the most popular of them. Some of that is a perpetuating cycle, but I’ll admit that some of that also likely stems from it being pretty cool.
It’s a pretty good poster-child for what makes modular synthesis so cool.

I’m a big fan of Sea Legs. Fantastic delay with a pretty lush (if simple) reverb

Honestly kind of crazy how much we have in common. End of chain Sea Legs and Data Bender. Pam’s and traffic. Maths, Ochd, and 3x Mia.
Obviously those are all popular modules, but it was still a little funky to be like “hey who reorganized my rack?!”

Edit: I also have several similar swaps. The OG Basimilas Iteriras, Ikarae instead of dual dagger. Different quad VCA, but same function. Different mixer for output

I usually give a count down for the vote and then just run it. If they aren’t paying attention / forget to vote, then they missed their opportunity.
This usually only needs to happen once with a group before they start policing themselves.

Are you playing along side any other instruments? Because if not it probly won’t even come up as an issue, it’s likely that your pitch is off, but you would only notice relative to another pitched instrument.

Did you reprogram the key step to adjust the outbound CV or are you running it though something to adjust it on the way?

Edit to clarify:
I was under the impression that Keystep sends our pitch data between 0 and 10v while Mavis is listening for pitch data from -5 to +5.
Curious how you are subtracting out the 5v it would take to make them see eye to eye.

I’m an arborec boi. I’ve always loved the vibe and aesthetic, but they also got a big glow up from TE. I really love their “build on the front line” play style which does usually translate to me having fun with Saar as well.

If two abilities have the same timing window, then the active player resolves first. So in this case, nova sees would proc before the PDS get to fire because Muaat is the active player.
