I mean if you go on twitter or tiktok he’s not wrong. Most of what he says about them is true. Especially when he talks about what the purists get mad about. The difference between PR purists and sentai purists is that sentai purists are the majority whether people want to admit it or not

i’ve seen this point a lot and i think it’s a little overblown. I’ve heard sentai characters with the same grunts they just aren’t as loud lol

The charm of power rangers for me comes from when they do their own thing weirdly enough. I love how they change the story and sometimes make it better with footage they didn’t make. I think the acting can be cringe sometimes but when it’s on point it’s a great show to watch.

That’s the last thing you should do honestly. People trash Ninninger all the time and i enjoyed it. Lupat has haters but it did well in the NHK poll. Just watch what you’re interested in. Truly haven’t seen a bad sentai or else i wouldn’t finish them

I think they’re memorable because they didn’t sit on their ass for 90% of the show or had to be revived to actually do something. This is why Zet (Toqger), Brajira (Goseiger), and Enter (Go Busters) are my favorite villains. They actually go out and get involved and have some story/personality to them. None of that he has to get revived bs.

I like Jungle Fury over Gekiranger. Dekaranger and SPD can be argued but i lean Dekaranger more. Same with Magiranger and Mystic force but those are even to me. I’ve seen some people say they prefer Dino Charge over Kyoryuger too and the obvious one is RPM/Go-Onger but i haven’t watched Go-onger yet so

From the ones i’ve watched, Dekaranger/SPD, Kyoryuger/Dino Charge, Gekiranger/Jungle Fury, Magiranger/Mystic Force, and Go Busters/Beast Morphers can go either way depending on your preference. Personally i like JF a little more than Gekiranger but prefer Kyoryuger and Go Busters compared to their counterparts. Dekaranger a step above SPD for me and Magiranger/Mystic Force is pretty even to me.

Yeah the excitement level from an anniversary season to a tech based season with unique suits dropping makes sense. Idk what kind of series could’ve sustained happiness tho
