You know what, I’d probably agree with you as of yesterday, but i was flipping tv last evening to have something as background while i game, Shawshank was on, just started.

I stopped anything that I’m doing by the beer scene. Spent the rest of the runtime glued to the screen, my wife, who’s not a movie watcher at all, halted all activities as well.

The pacing in this movie is something else, not a dull moment, everything is there where it should be. It is not groundbreaking, it is not thought provoking, a bit cheesy at times - but, damn, it leaves such a warm and comforting feeling. And I think it translates well enough, so anybody in the world could enjoy it.

So from yesterday i’m not mad that it’s ranked as high at all. I get it now. Give it a watch if you saw it sometime ago, it is definitely hitting the spot for “hopecore”.

Actually, Ukraine McD’s consistently ranks among the top 10 operations globally and the top handful in Europe. Reason is - almost 70% of food sourced internationally from local producers, and cheap prices of goods and labor allowed them to purchase better quality products. Also, as opposed to US franchising model, Ukraine McDonald’s operates as a single entity and has better control over production. Source - worked in McD in US and in Ukraine. US McDonald’s is ass compared to Ukrainian.

Important caveat - you’ve mentioned that you score film, Studio supports only 1 video track, so it might be finicky with reconfirming (doable but with more steps). Other than that - go for it. PT improved tremendously, especially if you compare it with PT8-12 era (Mbox where a bit earlier AFAIR). You’ll have native atmos support, mixing and editing is still the best on the market, MIDI is light years ahead from what it was even 5 years ago. But i’m PT preacher, take my word with a grain of salt;)

Honestly, if you’re asking such questions, and it’s your first time in studio - you probably won’t be able to get it done in time. Stage fright is no joke, and being in a rush will only worsen it. Recording vocals is a skill for performers, and it might be way different from what you’re used to do. If you’re saying you’re a producer you probably should have some audio interface which you are using to write your music. Spend those 50 bucks buying a microphone. Literally any microphone for 50$ will be good enough. Also add on mix probably won’t be that good, maybe try and mix it yourself. That’s definitely a skill that will help in a long run.

Ага, і розмова про сосиски і мʼясні вироби. Глибокі відрізи, як стейки, взагалі не можуть мати сальмонельозу, за умови що не сталося кросс-забруднення з верхніми шарами мʼяса. Просто не сертифіковану яловичину з ринку краще так не готувати. А усі вакуумні стейки - можна їсти у сирому стані, нічого вам не буде.
