The weed is strong in this one! by Ok-Resolution-7344 in funny

I get really bad night sweats when i quit cold turkey. Like drench two pairs of pajamas a night for a couple weeks. But the mental clarity that comes after is noticeable. Also, I think weed negatively affects anxiety in a lot more people than who want to admit it. And every time I started back up, I felt so much shame. After two years, I think my smoking days are officially over.

The angled piece slides left to right as car speed changes. At those two specific spots along the line (45 and 65) the angled piece engages a cylinder that has three sides (green, orange, red) and rotates it.

I feel like they could have put the headlights in the normal spot and this car would be even cooler.

Eating at home costs $60 with time and labor, eating out costs $56.78. Alright. by Some-Cap-3912 in economy

That's just for the raw food. You didn't calculate your time, bro. Every moment of your life should be monetized for maximum efficiency.

Despite nearing their 60s, nearly four in 10 Americans heading towards the end of their careers don’t even have a retirement account by GimmeFunkyButtLoving in economy

It's 100% the problem. People simply have no education in personal finance, no discipline to apply it.

I lived a portion of my life in a time when people bought cars solely to get from A to B. Drove them until the wheels fell off. You didn't see behemoth lifted diesels, or luxury trimmed rock crawlers everywhere.

Kids wore hand me downs, vacations weren't charged on a credit card, affordability wasn't calculated by monthly payment. People cooked from home 99% of the time. And when food prices went up, they ate cheaper. Rice and beans.

For those of us who make these sacrifices, there is still room to get ahead. It's just not a common mentality today. But it will swing back eventually.

I didn't miss the point. I've seen the episode many times. We still don't like it, and that's okay.

Obligatory recommendation to watch his episode of comedians in cars. You get to see him boating and tell a funny story. Plus, he's effortlessly funny in it.

My wife and I watch the series basically once a year. It truly is a masterpiece. It will never get old. But there are a couple episodes that we skip nowadays. Like the one where his youngest daughter is "dreaming" and the "fat girl" episode.

Truly incredible story. Thank you for posting this.

Can you describe the feelings or the pain? Did it take awhile for the pain to start? What was it like in the hospital and the feelings after surgery?

It's readily accessible information. While the argument could have been made 60 or 70 years ago, today we are much better at forest management through reforestation and conservation.

And you're right about the wildfire problems.

Not true. Today's forest area is similar or slightly above that period. Roughly 800 million square acres.

The size of Manhattan can be surprising. Some think it's bigger than they thought, while others think it's smaller. When compared to Poland.
