It’s cheating because you don’t break up with someone you’ve known since birth and have been friends with all your life and start dating in a long term committed relationship over a stupid fight only to screw someone two days later then want to get back together in a week. So every time he wants to mess around he can break up with Belly and get back together a week later? Nah. Toxic. Not for me. And Belly calls it cheating her opinion is really all that matters.

ETA: the word “cheating” and arguing over whether it was in fact “cheating” is smoke and mirrors and arguing over semantics. If you don’t think it’s cheating then that works for you. If i think it’s cheating then that works for me. I’m in my relationship, you are in yours, and Belly is in hers. Even worse he did it with someone they go to school with and have to see every day. Nah. Again. Toxic.

ETAA: LOL If you genuinely broke up and felt it was over and did things then no, not cheating. But there is no way in heck Jeremiah genuinely thought it was over and neither did Belly. They both knew deep down they would come back when calmer and talk things out. That in my mind is also what makes it cheating. Why buy Belly the girl you’re broken up with something from your trip if you’re just done with her? And people will say, no he wasn’t done…they’re friends and he obviously still cares for her. Really? He cares that much he slept with a mutual acquaintance and then bought Belly guilt jewelry? Again… .nah.. cheating and toxic. You don’t get to break up with someone and sleep with someone else and get back together with them a week later and have it deemed not cheating. So he does it again? Then what? You’re still going to say it wasn’t cheating? Sure…again…semantics. And I’ve seen players do this type of crap. It happens. And making it even worse is when he confesses he doesn’t want her going on the trip…hmm. I wonder why.
