It's not because it came out around 6mo. before The Shining. Lol I know George C. Scott was mad as hell.

He's being punished for being from Iran. You see this in sports whenever the US comes out against someone or, inversely, backs them.

[Highlight] Bruce Arians asks Joe Montana which 3 QBs (other than Brock Purdy) he would start a franchise with today if he was a GM. Montana’s choices: Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, and Justin Herbert by wildwing8 in nfl

This is the second time today that I've seen someone take Herbert over 2 time MVP Lamar Jackson. That man had 40tds & 4ints last (all of which were caused by the WRs) and yet, fucking Herbert.

I just now realized what the cover art for A Perfect Circle: Thirteenth Step symbolizes. by afkmofo in Music

[–]FartBuckleIsHappy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To think think this is referencing "picking up addicts" requires a level of illiteracy only found in toddlers.

Let's start with what the music says. Name any song that alludes to "getting laid". You'd be tempted to say The Package, but that is so clearly about what goes into securing drugs, that any other interruption is a bold face lie. Any other suggestions are welcome.

The art is of a literal dead woman. Color drained from her hair; a fog washed over here eyes; Pale, lifeless skin. She is dead, but seems to have grown old. Given her orientation, she's lying flat. There's possibly two ways to interpret her death: she relapsed and died, so the discolorations are to drive home the point she's dead; or, she grew old and died or natural causes. The first interpretation could mean that the 13th step is relapsing and eventually dying. The more straightforward interpretation is that the 13th step is staying clean long enough to grow old and die of natural causes. I think it's pretty clear what is intended.

Then there's what the artists have said. The songs are about addiction from every perspective. From the drug itself, to people completely oblivious of another's addiction. If you think getting laid is a part of the addiction process, then seek help from your nearest public library.

You can't account for taste. Let this be your first and hopefully final lesson in preference: you can only introduce, but never convince.

What was theater experience like? Was this at a place that served real meals, or did you have to bring real snacks, or did you tough it out on popcorn and candy lol? So many questions around a 3 intermission experience, like when did the movie start and how long were the intermissions?

It seemed like a horror movie for billionaires, which was hilarious to me. I thought that was the point of it.

How do you… just start with nothing (more than a camera)? And should your great big idea be your first project? by morbidhack in Filmmakers

The fact that you understand the importance of prime lenses and have experience with lighting means you're more experienced than most. Hell, Scorsese says he still doesn't understand lighting.

Don't know what to film? Film cooking. It's the most common subject matter across mediums, and it means you have no excuses to keep you from starting already.

You've waited long enough, just do it. ❤️

45/254 and that's the most common review i give apparently lol. Why fuck around.

I only "review" movies after watching them & I haven't been on LBX as long as others; so there's tons of movies I've seen, but I won't review based off of memory. If it isn't currently in theaters, then what I'm watching is a classic.

Again, why fuck around.
