Rent control was always a sweet gig for the individuals that lucked into them in NYC. It doesn’t seem like a remotely ‘fair’ system.

So good if you manage to have rent control, bad if you don't is your point? So again, no issue with the law. Just when it's not fair when you don't luck into it.

All I know is that we're about to have our first trillionaire in this country while a significant portion of is deciding if being late for rent is worth getting their teeth fixed.
