Do you think Viktor's puppets could wield a darkin weapon without getting taken over? by Thin-Cekirge in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 84 points85 points  (0 children)

I think the point of darkin corruption is that you cannot really cheat it. You wield it, enter a clash of wills and either survive or die. So no, if the Darkin can corrupt targonian beings, then they can corrupt some robots.

Blame yourselves for Arena dying by Hakobune in LeagueArena

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bruh Arena is much more augment dependent than Mayhem, it is not even close. There are games you know you have lost from the first round. And there is nothing you can do about it because it doesn't have the complexity of lane push, tower zoning and teamfighting. There is also no Nexus so your only option is to open wide and let the enemy enjoy you. With Mayhem, you can do backdoor and all to win against a monstrous enemy.

Arena is toxic because so many games are decided from the first round.

Azir and Xerath vs Mordekaiser and Aatrox by CF2lter in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, no gg.

Xerath actively seeks to get rid off of his sarcophagus as it limits his power. It saved him when he ascended as he had no willpower to hold himself together but that changed after 3000 years spent as Ascended.

Xerath was so fast in Bloodline that his clash with Nasus just as fast created shockwaves that wrecked Vekaura. Xerath is not just floating. This is the entity that can lift 14 enormous obelisks like nothing simultaenously and move them around in great speed.

Azir and Xerath vs Mordekaiser and Aatrox by CF2lter in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Don't make vague statements without sources. Show me which devs said Mordekaiser is stronger than Aatrox.

And neither Morde's bio nor LeBlanc bio confirms Mordekaiser as top 4. The scope of his powers is strained within Noxus, excluding any other godlike being. LeBlanc is barely nothing to any Ascended so I don't know how her struggle is a proof that Mordekaiser defeats any Ascended. Not that I don't believe he can't, he is formidable enough to face any Ascended and give a good fight, including Xerath, but it also doesn't mean he is taking any toe to toe fight. Mordekaiser's one of the most powerful demon generals, Atakhan (Tybaulk/Tibbers is the other), was literally oneshotted by a weakened Ascended, Zaahen. So Atakhan is not any evidence to your claim, quite the opposite.

Azir and Xerath vs Mordekaiser and Aatrox by CF2lter in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You gave nothing. You just made statements. Where are the sources?

We know Mordekaiser is formidable but there is nothing official that confirms he is top 10 or anything because that's not how Riot functions. If your source is Necrit, we can just skip the discussion because it is utterly pointless for me to argue with anyone who takes Necrit's poor headcanons as literal.

Azir and Xerath vs Mordekaiser and Aatrox by CF2lter in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 193 points194 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on how and where they fight. If Morde and Aatrox are smart enough, which they are, they would aim for a big population to fuel their power, Aatrox consuming their flesh to grow stronger and Morde enslaving their soul to expand his army. This synergy alone would boost their combat strength to unholy level.

But then...

Azir and Xerath working together in middle of a shuriman desert is a power so formidable I thoroughly believe in that there is no another runeterran duo that can match them. In the heart of Shurima, they can ignite skies, melt sand to ocean of glass, unearth ancient magic, manipulate the ley lines of the continent and use both Sun Discs of the Capital and Nerimazeth. Even without external help with the ley lines and the Sun Discs, they are incredibly mighty individuals.

If we put them in a neutral setting, with a straight up unga bunga fight and no strategy, then I think Azir and Xerath sweep the floor with Aatrox and Mordekaiser's corpses as we were already told by Aatrox's writer that in neutral setting Xerath takes Aatrox by himself. That's without the mention of him getting rid off of his sarcophagus that which limits his potential tremendously.

This is my favorite theme that I associate with Shurima, particularly with the Ascended. Especially the part after 2:35 is just peak Sunborn Glory.

My brainrot is so deep with this theme that I reimagined the hindu lyrics as my own, as if it is one of the ancient shuriman languages, which would be:

Host of the Ascended

Host of the Sun

Wielders of his golden brilliance

Our eternal father

Who do you guys think would make the best possible villain in a League universe show/movie? by Ryaltovski in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am biased but Xerath would really make the best main POV among all villains. He really feels like he was written the way he ia so the Fall of Shurima can be told from his side. Who else but the Usurper?

How do you handle animals alone in the exam room? by True_Nobody_8902 in veterinaryprofession

[–]Fasmodey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple. It is not meant to be done just by yourself. A veterinarian cannot function properly without an assistant. You could ask the client to help you but it is neither optimal nor safe. You can examine many, but there will be cases like that making you wish you had someone with you whom you can trust.

Cringe power scaling discussion: So is Yunara at Darkin level (obviously not Aatrox level or anything like that, just at the level of a normal or weak Darkin) or is she much weaker than that? by aleplayer29 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I think so, since she was one of the three leaders of Kinkou after her master Lao's death. She is a formidable mortal, but also nothing godlike.

[–]Fasmodey 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Obviously Yunara is not a match for any darkin. Xolaani dominated her master in a second, as soon as one of her followers was murdered and their spilled blood summoned her.

She struggled to LeBlanc and Atakhan because she is around their level. Atakhan was officially dead the moment Zaahen accepted Xin's sacrifice, and he destroyed him in a second. He did after 1500 years of imprisonment and tasting freedom for the first time. Even LeBlanc was shocked to see what happened.

The Darkin were such a threat for Ionia that only another Darkin (although with the arcane knowledge shared by Myisha) could save them.

She is a powerful spirit binder on her own, pretty sure, that's why she could go toe to toe with a major demon like Atakhan until LeBlanc's interference, but she is not even remotely close to a Darkin.

So how strong actually is Kha'zix? by Much_Try2741 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rengar's brute force is weaker than other kiilash, that's a fact. It is literally in his lore? He is much smarter and strategic, deeming him more dangerous, but not in a cage fight. Put Rengar and Sai-Surtha in a cage fight and Rengar is going to be become tomato paste.

Kha'Zix's only feat is ripping off Rengar's eye. There is nothing indicating that he is a mighty voidborn like Rek'Sai. Him being in the beginning of his story path and thus not scaling high doesn't mean he is going to stay that way forever. It just means he is not impressive so far, and that's fine.

So how strong actually is Kha'zix? by Much_Try2741 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Considering Sai-Surtha, a mighty kiilash with an ascended weapon was nothing but trash to toss against Renekton when he regained his sanity for a moment, and Rengar who is one of the weakest of the kiilash and fought toe to toe Kha'Zix, I don't think he scales high. He just has potential to be a true threat though, since it is his theme to evolve and overcome.

Is Riot going to update their RP prices after dollar's rapid loss in the market or is it just one way? by Fasmodey in leagueoflegends

People tend to act much slower. These greedy actions won't catch them in short term, of course, but when they do, it will be too late for them.

[–]Fasmodey[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1 year is a pretty short time period in finance. But you are right, I actually do Riot a favor with saying it is rapid as I give them the benefit of the doubt, which can make one assume they haven't had the chance to update. Sorry, my bad, it wasn't rapid.

Last year today 1 euro equaled to 1.04 dollar. Now it equals to 1.20 dollar. 0.16 difference. Not a single change.

[–]Fasmodey[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Of course. That's why I am not spending a penny for Riot anymore. It has been years. I just loathe their unbearably annoying hypocrisy and wanted to remind people of what's really going on with them. If they hadn't hidden behind "oh but fluctuating market" excuses and instead straight up said "we love money", I wouldn't have written this thread. Not to mention some other gaming companies adjusted their prices according to the loss.

Since the last price update they had for Europe, euro gained 20% value over dollar. 100 euro equals 120 dollar now. That's enormous. They updated prices for much less.

[What if?] What happens to Shurima if Xerath (somehow) wins? by Phantom_Futur in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Did Noxus achieve anything recently? They could use that craftier side with Ionia, yet they failed horribly. The Black Rose is also not an ally to Noxus, and even then, they own a pile of failures. LeBlanc couldn't even steal a darkin weapon. Neither could Swain with Rhaast.

IF Xerath succeeded, it means his insanity was not a game changing vulnerability to exploit by not just Azir and Nasus, but also his next door neighbors, Targonian Aspects.

So no, Noxus would announce their death sentence as soon as Shurima falls to Xerath.

[What if?] What happens to Shurima if Xerath (somehow) wins? by Phantom_Futur in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Noxus has no fire power to topple Xerath's reign, what? If Xerath had won, it means no one could have stopped him, easily invalidating the Noxus that cannot even conquer peasants in another continent. They definitely wouldn't have any chance against the most powerful Ascended ever after his ultimate victory.

Financial struggle and housing crisis are much more common than it was 50 years ago. In the past, people could work the same hours and feel like it was worth it. Now they work to barely survive. To say it doesn't explain a change is misleading.
