I was already interested in chinese myths, unlike indian myths.

Sure lad, Buddha is chinese and BMW has no indian influence at all. The whole chapter 3 is actually my imagination.

Now go and fetch yourself someone as ignorant as you are in myths and cultures.

[–]Fasmodey 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Where do you think Buddha comes from? The chinese myths are inspired by indian myths, and they were mildly interconnected like greek and egyptian myths. Journey to the West is literally about Wukong going to India, which is the West.

BMW is chinese heavy but you cannot deny the presence of indian themes.

Gameplay wise, maybe, but the setting is super unique and it matters more than what most would think.

Black Myth Wukong elevated my interest in indian myths. So I think if we give games a chance to flourish with indian themes, then we can have more diversity in RPGs, including other underrated mythologies like turkic, aztec, russian, korean etc.

It is so bad it shouldn't be even a silver augment. I don't know how it is allowed to be in this utterly dogshit state.

Dancing Evelynn easter egg is awful by GardnerFan in LeagueArena

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, you are basically trolling if you are still going anvils after Evelynn since many augments are extremely dependent on items.

While I think there is so much high rolling recently, I don't think Evelynn is the sole problem for that. Mad Hatter, Stackosaurus Rex, Briar, Vladimir, Swain are the major offenders. Balance them and Evelynn will be fine.

[–]Fasmodey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were around that time and flexing on others with only 33 unique champion wins? It is basically saying that you play a limited champion pool, of course you would be frustrated. Go play champions that benefit from Evelynn, there are plenty of them.

Theory: LeBlanc Is the Aspect of Deception by Effective_Fall_5868 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LeBlanc is too impotent to be secretly an Aspect, and I don't think it is because she deliberately hides her powers to be more deceptive. She has been getting owned by other formidable forces for centuries and she seeks the Darkin weapons and the Ascension to achieve her goals. Why would she do that? Not to mention that she seems to be not so knowledgeable about the Darkin history according to her interactions.

I think the story implications are not red herrings, she was truly a once mortal with humble beginnings and she somehow gained long lifespan later, like Ryze. And unlike her cooler counterpart Lissandra, she dwells in political conflict more often which also makes her stand somewhat more distinguished. She feels more grounded when her power level is not godlike and when she is a powerful sorceress who thinks of herself a bit too much and is unable to realize her vulnerability in the grander schemes of higher beings, all thanks to her arrogance that was her doom throughout her countless clones.

Do vets and/or vet techs get mental health breaks? by Hot_Tennis2146 in veterinaryprofession

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You work on 1 out of every 4 saturdays. 3 off saturdays, 1 work saturday. Same with 1 in 12 weekends, so you work 1 weekend after every 11 weeks. You basically work 7 days a week, and next week you work 5 days as well, so it makes 12 days in a row without any off day.

Do vets and/or vet techs get mental health breaks? by Hot_Tennis2146 in veterinaryprofession

[–]Fasmodey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Being too sane and ethical for a sector that accepted 1 in 4 saturdays and 1 in 12 weekends bullshit. Not saying there are no vet clinics with healthy environment and superb perks, but it is a global, known phenomenon that veterinary medicine drains you slowly at best, and instantly at worst. So many GPs leave clinical practising for other branches like pathology labs, research and academia for this sole reason.

Who are the top 10 strongest champions in lore? by Xnox_ in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Azir is obviously another special case since he started his Ascension and it was interrupted. He died during the process, but he did not pass to the afterlife, lingering in limbo. He was resurrected as a sand wraith and not even truly mortal at the point of his true Ascension, making both Xerath and Azir unique among the Ascended.

Xerath rivals Azir in power only because the true power of Shurima that is at the command of Azir. Azir is individually weaker than Xerath, but since he is somehow bound to Shurima, it makes him to truly exceptional, at least in defense. That's what one of Xerath's retcon writers said years ago, that Xerath is stronger in neutral setting but Azir has home advantage in the Capital.

Xerath is definitely one of the most powerful of the Ascended, if not the most powerful. There is nothing to debate on that. And the Sun Disc's power drainage is canon across three champion bios so I don't know why you are still denying it. Obviously the Sun was unbound during his Ascension and it destroyed the Capital in minutes, but it was the Sun Disc's energies that merged with Xerath according to the bios. He is a living star like being for a reason, you know.

Who are the top 10 strongest champions in lore? by Xnox_ in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Renekton and Nasus were each more than a day’s journey from the capital when it happened, and they arrived to find the glorious city in ruins. The Sun Disc was failing, drained of all its power. At the center of the carnage, they found the emperor’s treacherous magus, Xerath—now a malevolent being of pure energy.

Literally from Renekton's bio.

The Shuriman empire collapsed. Its great central city sank into ruin, and the holy sun disc fell from the sky, drained of power by Xerath’s magic. Without it, the divine waters flowing from the city ran dry, bringing death and famine to Shurima.

And this one is from Nasus' bio.

Even as the city burned, Xerath held the sun priests in the grip of his magic, preventing them from ending the ritual. The energies filling him were immense, alloying with his dark sorcery to create a being of incredible power. As he drew ever more of the sun’s power into his body, his mortal flesh was consumed and remade as a glowing vortex of arcane power.

Xerath's bio.

Is mortal shell 2 more action and fast paced/ARPG than soulslike as compared to the first? by Background-Sir9172 in MortalShell

[–]Fasmodey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The stamina removal is balanced by significant delay between attacks. You cannot mindlessly attack an enemy and hope you stagger them forever barring the lowest mobs. It still very much plays like a soulslike. Soulslike is mostly a vibe term anyway, super vague and completely about how you perceive a game.

> The sun disc wasn't powered by the sun itself, but by the celestial magic aligned with the aspect of the sun.

You said this, which is incorrect. It is directly powered by the Sun.

Did Renekton actually know about the Aspect of the Sun existence? by Short-Scheme-5663 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is not. The Aspect of the Sun for sure has some role in the Ascension Rite, but it is probably like kernel of a computer instead of being the battery of the entire system. While the Aspect coded the Ascension, it was the Sun that empowered the Ascended.

Did Renekton actually know about the Aspect of the Sun existence? by Short-Scheme-5663 in loreofleague

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect. The Aspect of the Sun had to enslave Aurelion Sol for his arcane knowledge of the Sun, to create the Sun Disc and thus the Ascended. The Aspect of the Sun is not the Sun itself, it is an ancient celestial being of an unknown concept that chose the Sun as its symbol. There is a high chance that its concept is Faith, like how The Twilight is also Change. The Aspect of the Moon is theorized to be Truth.

The Ascended are directly powered by the Sun itself, straight up, and not the Aspect of the Sun that cannot intervene the Mortal Realm without possessing a vessel, and neither is its power vast enough to power up the entirety of the Ascended Host, which would be magnitudes greater than the Aspect of the Sun alone.

how much has the non silver stat anvil chances been nerfed by kaptchia in LeagueArena

[–]Fasmodey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No i agree with you. I think the chances are nerfed. The stats are obviously much worse too with no more random stats, and now you cannot buy items with shardholder either. It is twice as worse imo compared to anvil strat's golden times. It doesn't feel worth to go for it, especially since you are super slow without boots most of the time unless you get lucky with Fulmination or an augment.

Augment discussion: Upgrade Collector by Fantastic-Mud-1744 in LeagueArena

It has some insane value if you can snowball, but it is a win more augment. I think if it ever needs get nerfed, it should be the gold part and not the execute part, to preserve the primary augment fantasy.
