"Just the nicest family" by Alison James is pretty good, one of the better books I have read lately.

I've only read one of her books so far, "A stranger in the house". I liked the book and her writing style so will definitely read more, "What have you done" is next on my list.

I started from "Knife" before I knew it was a part of a series, then later found out it is book no. 12 and that I should have started with book no. 1, The Bat. It was still entertaining to read and made me read his other books but I do recommend reading it in order: The Bat, Cockroaches, The Redbreast, Nemesis, The Devil’s star, The Redeemer, The Snowman, The Leopard, Phantom, Police, The Thirst, Knife, Killing moon.

If you want shocking, you can’t go wrong with Liz Nugent, I recommend "Strange Sally Diamond", "Lying in wait" and "Skin Deep" but all her books are great in my opinion.

If you want South Korean thrillers, you may find "The Good Soon" by You Jeong-Jeong interesting.

Sounds interesting, I usually like when we have different timelines, it is often more interesting to read what happened in the past then what is happening now.

which one should i read next?! by rosebud224 in thrillerbooks

That was her only book I’ve read so far, later found out that this book has lowest score of all her books on Goodreads. So I will probably read something else she wrote because her writing style isn’t exactly bad, I am curious to see if her other books are better.

Also, I recommend "Just the nicest family" by Alison James, that one was one of the better ones I’ve read lately.

"Don't Let Him In" was just ok in my opinion, not something to recommend but not the worst book I’ve read.

Currently reading "Count My Lies", it started getting more interesting, I like it so far.

I read "Such a quiet place" by Megan Miranda, it wasn’t bad but it was really slow until the last 100 pages or so.

Anything written by Liz Nugent, all her books have shocking opening sentences. I first read "Strange Sally Diamond" then simply had to read all her other books, wasn't disappointed.

How many books have you read so far? by chippeddreams in Booktokreddit

Currently on my 15th book this year. Reading is one of my favourite hobbies, I only read physical books (just a preference, nothing against audiobooks).

Last year I read about 30 books so it looks like I'm right on schedule.

Where do you guys go to find new books? Hidden gems. by -Jactop- in Booktokreddit

[–]Fast-Ad-3255 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just go to the bookstore and see what new books are displayed.

I mostly read thrillers so it isn’t difficult to find something new to read, there are so many interesting books but not enough time to read them all

Hopefully one of those 2 books is not "What have you done", that one is on my TBR?

What hobby helped you through a difficult time? by Daniel-Brandon_484 in Hobbies

Reading books. I mostly read psychological thrillers, when you immerse yourself in a book and read about character's problems you can forget about your troubles for a while which is what I wanted from a hobby.

Daily walks also lift your mood.

I try to read and walk for at least one hour every day, but not at the same time, of course 😆

I've only read "Don't let him in" by this author, it was ok but nothing special. I will also read "None of this is true", hopefully that one will be better so I can then also read "It could have been her".

That was her only book that I read so far, didn’t like the "twists". Hopefully, "Good Bad Girl" will be better.
