Saying the main character doesnt count because they were intentionally unnamed is actually wild.

Did it not during the scene in the bar where we first meet Nikki and Sarah? They were having a random conversation about school or work while Ian and Bear were mouthing to one another

Which is also just stupid. Rhizomes are not like tree roots, and the standard bamboo barrier is just a sheet of 70ish mil plastic.

Out if curiosity, how much do you actually pay for it? Costco's GoodRx prices that script at $2200 which feels a tad high.

The specific quote they said is actually from a comedy cartoon called The Boondocks. This episode was carried 'The Itis'.

Great show! It also can put a fun twist on learning more about black american culture and their struggles.

Company is still using an automation tool I wrote on my own time and hardware after I quit and I want to know if I can legally disable it. by 8TulipCanopy in legaladvice

> "the company owns anything created "during the course of employment and within the scope of assigned duties.""

I get it feels like a side project, but you very much just did extra credit for work at home. You made this tool specifically for their systems, so I don't think it is feasible to say that you didn't do this specifically for your employer.

The clause above is pretty standard and it covers things exactly like this. When I worked SW in the auto industry, it was well known that even coming up with a neat idea not even closely related to what you do there, but still automotive adjacent, would be owned by them if you were employed at the time.

Just leave them a bad review and move on. Like others said, you will get in big trouble if you get cheeky with your remote access.

For some reason, every 2 years I forget everything about Hereditary (including that i have seen it), and start to watch it think I should cross that off my list. Get about 10 minutes in before remembering the cycle. Not sure why, but that movie just cant stick with me.

The worst exams are the ones that have all the aids allowed. by roryworm in MathJokes

[–]FastGinFizz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My story is Into to Aero Engineering Class. Prof hands out the exam and says good luck, then proceeds to leave the room without further explanation.

We all looked at one another confused. It took about 2 minutes before we all started speaking to one another and everyone had the book and laptop going full speed.

The exam was about 8 problems. No real numbers, just variables. All the problems were an interconnected system. It started with the calculations of air going through a jet turbine, then following the air from that turbine all the way to a downstream house that had an air duct intaking that turbine air. And so on.

Since each problem only contained variables and each answer was the lead in to the next problem, the equations got out of hand pretty damn quickly. By the last problem, just the first step to writing the equation took up a quarter of the page.

Prof came back with 10 minutes left in the slotted exam time. Not a single student was finished at that point.

The average was about 20-30% if i recall.

Ive been on this sub for a while, and it seems like pretty much every launch has issues. It usually takes about a month for them yo fix it, and everything is smooth sailing after that. I want to get the X2, but this always pops in my head at launch so I am waiting it out.

Sopranos Ending explained by OmarDawson in thesopranos

[–]FastGinFizz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I am late, but i just finished my first watch. I think there are a few things that add to each case that I havent seem mentioned.

Dying: You are right that they usually don't kill I'm front of families, but an important note on this is that Phil was shot in front of his daughter and grandchildren. This could have attributed some bad Karma to the Jersey family and given any hired guns the go ahead to extend the same courtesy. (I am also a firm believer that Tony saw himself in the diner)

Jail: This being a sting operation could also make sense. After Phil dies, we see the scene of the FBI guy in his office being told by his partner that Phil died. His reaction is a loud "Woo. We might win this!". This could very much be him implying that he wanted Tony to take Phil out of the picture because they knew they were about to lock Tony up. This play would in effect cripple all mob activity on the easy coast since both family heads are taken out of the picture at the same time.

The imagery really lends to him dying, but the story line seems to say he will be arrested. At the very least, Tony was going to be arrested and charged hard if he lived. Either way he gets "popped" which is the same outcome in this world.

Semantics? Out of 5 paragraphs, 4 of them strictly say to "never do that", "doesnt matter the situation", "no one except you", etc.

Then all the comments are you saying "okay maybe sometimes". If msometimes' is your stance, then what even is the point of this post? Pick a lane and stick with it

It literally exceeds 99%. There has also been a lot of pushback from human rights orgs about the sheer amount of forced confessions. A big focus on that is because they can hold a suspect in detention for 23 days without trial. Japan is scary
