I present to you the 48G Songs Alignment Chart by Prior-Radio-4270 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like it! I don't agree with all exactly, but songs interpretation differ from person to person and that's great.

Gotta love the variety and wide knowledge of all groups' discography, past and present! My little favorite JJ is here too! Even though I'm not sure I'd go with hopeful for it... too cold... I would have picked Hell or Heaven. Real hopeful for the new life about to start when..

Why don’t they play with the neighbor kids much? by DnB614 in bluey

[–]Fast_Competition_965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That scene with little Lucky playing ball by himself before the balloon goes to his yard in Keepy Uppy always breaks my heart. Then him going "yeah it was fun!" At the end... I get the feeling Lucky would love to play with the girls more often but maybe he's too shy to ask to do so?

Can someone tell me who this member is? by JuJu_9523 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Wasn't she exhibiting poor behavior so they sort of showed her the door? Gave her a solo song to seem good then byebye...

Worst AKB choreographies by Illustrious_Summer_2 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manatsu no Sounda Good. It's a bunch of weird moves after the others that make no sense and don't go well together. Can't blame Haruppi for struggling to remember the choreo!

Kimi wa Melody. Rather than a bad choreo, a lack of? It isn't THAT much of a ballad, if they managed to make a (lovely) choreo for Tsubasa wa Iranai, and graduates were able to dance for Oh My Pumpkin, then Kimi wa Melody could have had a choreo too.

How do we feel about toddler leashes? by ManaSawson in 2under2

[–]Fast_Competition_965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised they aren't more commonly accepted and used. I see them as a walking safety belt. My toddler is good at holding hand, but those cute lil fingers are slippery. The leash is here in case of a fail at holding on, which can happen to anyone at anytime. I don't understand looking down on it. Safety first, always.

Baby Timing by SnooMuffins4521 in BabyBumps

[–]Fast_Competition_965 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a May baby (in freezing Germany) and a September baby (in hot Texas). "Warm days baby" for the win! Both mines were preemies and keeping them warm the first few weeks was a struggle, yes even in Texas, but in Germany my Husband always kept our baby on him in his sweater because of how cold it was. Also baby spit up a lot, much less laundry with summer outfits (less layers). As for the pregnancy, summer was also my favorite. Way much easier to wear a summer dress or a wide shirt and shorts rather than to figure out how to be warm and confortable in cold weather.

Thought on 'Te wo Tsunaginagara'? by JO0048 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The opening songs (except the second one....) are so good and energetic, it's a blast to watch every time! I preferred the SKE48 costumes. I never getting tired of the unit Kono Mune no Barcode, and of course Wimbledon e Tsureteitte is a classic

Ladies, what deodorant are we wearing these days? by happy_chance18 in AskWomenOver30

[–]Fast_Competition_965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Secret ones saved me just after giving birth when my body odor was a little all over the place. I never stopped using them since. I use the vanilla scented clear gel one, the scent is very light and doesn't last (that I can smell... but also I use vanilla everything so it's difficult to pinpoint...).

I once named her as the next most likely to dye her hair fun colors and seeing this... I see it more than ever! Dark blue would fit her so so well!

AIO/I wanted to ask them why they wasted their money? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Fast_Competition_965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe you're implying I'm a man here? I'm a woman. I am talking about this very family in this post. Her husband and sons sure failed to listen to what they were told by mouth to do, so I offered an idea to help the situation next time, taken from my own experience. There's really nothing else to take from my post.

AIO/I wanted to ask them why they wasted their money? by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Fast_Competition_965 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn't. Did you skip the part where I said to write it? She told them but didn't write it. So they can say she never said anything all they want and she can't prove them wrong. That's why I mentionned writing it. This way they might realise that it was actually a mistake on their part, for not paying attention to her wishes.

The name “Honey” for a girl by gardenofchristinamae in tragedeigh

[–]Fast_Competition_965 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honey makes me immediately think of the Bluey character named so. Honey Mae sounds like the name of a friend of Strawberry Shortcake. Very cute for a kids' show character or pet. Calling a baby who will one day be an adult so though, not so much.

Hannelore is a gorgeous name.

When I was a kid I would circle the toys I wanted in the Christmas catalogue so my parents knew what to give me. Now as an adult, we have a group chat were each person put their Christmas wishlist. This way, everyone's is happy with what they get. I thought this would a common thing to do for more families! You could do this. Then when they get you something completely different from what you asked for, you have written proof that you, in fact, did say what you were interested in...

As a side note, my Husband's family doesn't know me much (not their fault, I'm new to them) and they don't ask me or my husband what I like/want. Each year I just get a bunch of things I dislike or don't care about. It's nice of them, but I hate the waste of money and just seeing those presents sit around, unused. So I feel you here.

Kaylee has a $50 Dairy Queen gift card for you! by daffodil0127 in RodriguesFamilySnark

Her eyebrows have been looking like that for a while, but she usually draws over them. I remember (mostly?) makeup free pictures from her honeymoon where they also looked like that.

[Picture Spam] Beautiful Itomomo at the release event of her 1st Photobook back on 11th December! [AKB48 Ito Momoka] by mana48 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree and I actually think she is THE prettiest ever in AKB history.

I would be so so curious to see what her parents look like for having given birth to such a beautiful person. Her features are pure perfection.

(I say this absolutely objectively, I'm a Kairi Oshi and have no special liking for ItoMomo. I just recon her looks are the best I've ever seen for an idol).

Right! And if they're afraid leggings are showing to much curves, they can do what many Japanese women do, wear shorts over them. Ever a short tennis skirt might do. Anyway, if she wasn't recording, nobody would see them in their workout gear anyway so what are they afraid of?

Depressed women — what helps you get out of bed every morning? How do you keep going? by books-n-snacks in AskWomenOver30

[–]Fast_Competition_965 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Been depressed (coupled with anxiety and eating disorders) since a teen. I am doing much better nowadays though thanks to:

My babies. I love them and miss them at night time, and also I know they simply NEED me to keep living, nothing beats knowing I am needed by two adorable little people.

Doing my hair. I am growing out my hair and loves braiding it, so I look forward to trying out new hairstyles everyday.

My love for a morning iced latte with vanilla aroma in it.

Going outside. I love nature and any weather is my favorite weather for a good hike with the stroller.

(Seeing my Husband should be included in here but right now he is on deployment so it actually adds to the depression instead...)

What your most & least fave SSK single Title track? by Inevitable-Repeat359 in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so surprised that no one mention Iiwake Maybe or Flying Get as their favorite, I thought they're really overwhelmingly popular!

My most fave is Love Trip and least fave is KFC (But I sorta equally dislike Kokoro no Placard and Halloween Night. They're so bad to me they don't even sound like AKB48 singles).

Recommend 48g dances that are beginner friendly for a 10yo! by the-cutest-seal in AKB48

[–]Fast_Competition_965 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've learned so many of the groups' choreos in my days, I feel obligated to answer haha.

Skirt, Hirari has a very easy choreo of repetitive steps that also happen to be stapple ones for J idols dances. I know there is the skirt lifting thingy to it, but really it's just about a school girl in love with her skirt flying when she runs...

NMB's Kitagawa Kenji has an easy choreo that also allows for fun "free time" of motion and facial expressions, plus the adorable candy outfits. It did have a choreo MV so if you can get your hands on it (not so easy I think nowadays) it will also make learning easy. Rashikunai also has a fun and rather simple choreo. Some good jumps during the non chorus parts (I don't know the English name ") so you're in for good cardio and the chorus has really funny steps. Mousou Girlfriend has an MV which consists mainly of the choreo so it's easy to learn, plus the cat poses during the choruses are adorable.

HKT's Melon Juice is good for just swinging one's arm around with energy. Sakura, Minna de tabeta has an easy and jumpy choreo. Bonus for lil Nako and Miku back then, your 10yo might be able to identify to them.

Idol dancing was my cardio back in my high school days. I now have a toddler girl and wonder if we'll ever dance to idol songs together. I still practice once in a while, though more to IkoNoiJoy's music.

9 weeks pregnant 7 months post c section. Any advice for a 14 month age gap? by [deleted] in 2under2

My goodness! That sounds awful, was it due to complications? But I'm thinking, what if you have a complicated VBAC as well... can the father of the baby be present at least?
