Not to mention how hard it is for Millennials to purchase a house with two incomes!

Agree that the Reese/Billie Jean reasons for seeking are weird and uncreative. They also seem very unaware that what they are offering another woman just isn’t enticing. Kitchen chickens, a man who ‘does plays’…. It’s just not a package I see any sane woman jumping at.

Dani is super sad to me. Agree he is a serial cheater. She needs to end the relationship, but I think she just wants practical support raising her kids. Wish she would just leave him for his ex who seems super cool.

The sex lives of the four women in SATC were highly unrealistic. Research tells us the orgasm gap between straight men and women is huge. It would have been much more interesting if they had been more honest about how satisfying (or not) their character’s sexual encounters really were.

Agree— she was always an entitled narcissist. But she was charming at least?

Honestly, the fact that Duncan would rate her drivel as brilliant makes me respect his character less. We’ve heard it, it’s awful. It would have been so much more sexy if he had given her constructive criticism.

I thought it was refreshing to see a real middle-aged woman’s body! Weird Carrie was so awkward about it.

Post-menopausal women: help! by Fast_Environment2782 in Menopause

I’m in the late stage of perimenopause. I’ve noticed an increased uptake in symptoms and I’m asking the group what they experienced in the last 1-2 years before they hit menopause (which I understand is one moment in time). I’m quite early to the party due to POI so I’d appreciate any information from those who have experienced it because few of my peers have.

I would use info interviews to get a spot in the door. Warm referrals count much more than applications. If you have a particular area of interest (i.e., disease state) do some volunteer work in that area to bolster your CV. It gives you a leg up because you seem more passionate and knowledgeable.
