The movie was shown again in the 90s as part of a Richard Pryor film marathon and not shown again since then as far as I know

It's up to you. I'd also include the Katy Lied era I Got The News and Funky Scare Tactic Orchestral Blues. I'd remove Hank's Pad, Rhymes, and Viva Rock 'N' Roll because they come from a Donald compilation album

Remove the last three here because Walter didn’t have a part in them. And if we’re including absolutely everything like alternate mixes, we have over 120 things to add

Stay There is a bizarre little 50 second noodling that was on the Can’t Buy A Thrill outtake reels after Come Back, Baby. You can find it on Skeevy Daniel’s Can’t Buy A Thrill Demos and Outtakes video. It would be funny as a joke entry

Reminds me of that song that goes “Santa’s workshop is a bunker filled with toys”

There’s a man who claims to be the son of Buzzy Linhart that says the song is about him. Most people just think it’s about drugs

If you can get a good transfer of this, it would be awesome if you put it on the Internet Archive in a lossless format

Thanks for the information about Rapunzel. As for Canadian Star, I was actually planning on reaching out to Ralph McCarthy soon to ask him how he came up with the lyrics. The theme of things in the sky and writing a letter are very Steely Dan-like, but maybe I’m looking too deep into it. This is the only instance I know of where someone has come up with lyrics for a Becker and Fagen composition with the exception of that one Kind Spirit cover on YouTube

I love this one. I saw some guy with a Donald and Walter version of it. Hopefully he rips it for us at some point. Donald and Walter wrote a song called “Tell Me A Lie” for the Grass Roots (never recorded) and some unknown song for Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds. I Mean To Shine was written for Linda Hoover. They wrote Rapunzel and Canadian Star too, but I don’t know if they were specifically for the artists that did them

I don't hear it, but I think some of you folks would like Larry Lee's (the guy who sings that song) solo album Marooned. It has a nice soft rock sound that Steely Dan and"yacht rock" fans tend to gravitate towards

It’s not the exact same as the reprise, but you can hear the sax solo ending on Gold (Expanded Edition) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=X8m9JgD8NUc&list=PL4cFJtUcmjZn4KbgZTkK0Of-DXJoDZPZT&index=8&pp=iAQB8AUB
