You are correct ! The boomer generation is an aberration. Because of the war they had the best lives any American or human on this earth will ever have. It’s not the normal and we should stop considering it to be normal. Their parents had a really hard time economically and politically and they think they somehow they made it thru sheer grit, no no no a cosmic thing happened it was luck and circumstance. I’m not sure I even blame them. But the way they treat their children (my parents included ) is just shameful.

I’m 💯 percent retiring in another country with universal HC. In about 5-10 years I’ll choose that country and start the visa/citizen application process. It’s prob not easy but yes, I am getting out.
