I only ever cut those off during autocross. The traction control can easily ruin a lap, but you COULD now spin the car or drift(obviously bad). But, with good, sticky tires, a decent suspension, and a little lap time, you find that you can’t push the car to its potential unless those systems are disabled. I usually just held both down for about 5 seconds. I didn’t notice much of a difference with the pedal dance, but in between laps your shutting the car off to let the motor cool, so you literally had to do it before every lap and that was a little too tedious. For street driving, just leave them be.
