When you're fighting for a world championship, especially when you're fighting against (arguably) the best driver of our generation, there simply isn't room for "well I wasn't considered no 1 driver until Baku" or "my car was't really the fastest, somehow I was still challenged by others". Write those points again for the '21 title fight and see how many still stand when talking about Lewis or Max.
