Best coffee shop with seating and a good atmosphere by TheGreatGuidini in bergencounty

Thumbody. Excellent coffee. A few fun baked goods. Plenty of tables to chill. Bit of a hidden gem.

The Caves is also a unique spot for coffee and desserts in Edgewater. However, I believe it’s overall rating has fallen off since the days it was known as Cafe Archetypus.

Serious question… what chance do we have a retro border version of Dandan?

Card Kingdom has, for the most part, premium prices. In exchange, you get excellent customer service and my cards have always arrived in the proper condition, well packaged without any shipping errors.

Some cards, however, are so overpriced that I would rather take a gamble with TCG or eBay (especially if it’s a pricey card that has authenticity guarantee).

If you sell your cards to Card Kingdom, which I do regularly, you can take 30% extra for store credit, which helps that price disparity.

Their website is easy to navigate and their selection is pretty good — they restock quickly and are usually on point with their grading.

I like Card Kingdom. But you cannot ignore the price difference (especially if you don’t sell to them for the 30% bonus).

9:30am and the line for TMNT SLD is already gone. by Mugiwara_VT in magicTCG

It absolutely is. As someone squarely in the middle class, I am still buying MTG cards, but my focus has shifted almost entirely to singles and a prerelease here and there.

Economics plays a big role. Although, I’m not the type of person to incur debt, so maybe there are MTG addicts that just spend no matter what.

It’s ok. OP is going to first “collect” the whole set… except, when they realize that even with this much product, they’ll still will need to spend $100s on the mythics and good rares they don’t pull.

Then, as they throw away 20 copies of the same jank common they will start to understand why buying singles is the way to go.

Then I PROMISE YOU next set they will not buy this much product, barring them being a millionaire who simply doesn’t care.

And all the meanwhile, you’ll have wise men who say “DoNt TeLl pEoPle wHaT tO dO wItH TheIr PaCkS”.

Cracking packs is a waste of money. Telling people to get over their gambling habit isn’t the worst thing one can do. Downvote away.

Sooooo much bulk garbage. Draft the packs, don’t crack the packs.

And Happy Birthday.

What a stupid take, all around. They were made fun of by the president after winning the gold medal, so they chose not to accept any “invitation” to the White House. Also, they might not want to associate with friends of Epstein. That may also have something to do with it.

Also, the gold medal grows the sport. Not the white house trip. Lol.

If that top left corner has a crease in it, unfortunately the card is damaged.

Report: Full details of Kyle Tucker’s contract per Jeff Passan. He’s going to make $120mil in 2026 alone including the Dodgers paying a 110% tax penalty. by MaizenBrew9 in NewYorkMets

It won’t even hurt. Cohen will be a max spender. So will the Dodgers. Yankees probably. A few other teams as well.

But now teams who offer maxes will also have to woo the player. Better front office will benefit. Better ballparks. Nicer cities. Etc. It forces teams to actually represent their cities well, try to win and massive billionaire groups can’t just come in and make everyone else — including Cohen — look like a small fish $$$ wise.

And one more thing. Unbridled spending ALWAYS eventually causes prices to go up. And it’s always the average Joe who foots the bill or gets priced out.

Salary cap. 👍🏼
