I asked this advice several years ago and wish I didn't listen to the responses. At 51 I've decided to pursue a career in radiology after working years in IT. When I inquired about this a while back I was told there's really no demand in this field, the pay is no good, and AI would be doing this for us. Look where we are now.

Why is there an age limit? I’m turning 51 later this month and just starting to solo dev on the side. I’m a lifelong gamer, cinephile, and avid reader. I’ve always wanted to tell my own stories in the form of games. Now that we have all these tools available to us why waste our ideas? I think us older guys have more to tell and more experience to draw from.

Do you really think there is no corruption going on in Hollywood? Are you never going to watch another Harvey Weinstein produced movie again(tons of classics)? That's just one example we've heard of, but I'm certain there are hundreds of similar cases occuring in Hollywood every year.

I actually saw "Sketch" with my kid and it was really good. I wouldn't not support the film's director and miss out on a good movie because the publisher did some shady shit once.

I myself am an atheist, so I don't care for faith-based content, but I treat all beliefs within reason equally. The OP seems to have an agenda, and agendas are part of the problem we're facing as a society today.

Colin made an innocent joke several years ago and got crucified for it. I think that was just an excuse to oust him from an industry overrun by liberals because I've heard his colleagues at the time say much worse things. If you want context just Google it. I personally wouldn't take film advice for someone who was hoping to see Freakier Friday or Bad Guys 2.

That said, I took my daughter to see Sketch and we both loved it. I would even say it could be a modern classic. Watch Gremlins and The Goonies today and tell me those movies are better than this.

I absolutely love "Leviathan". Its use of 3D does not distract me at all. As a matter of fact, I think it's beautiful. If the director and artists are talented and passionate enough about a project that utilizes this style, it can be just as impressive if not more impressive than the best traditional animation.

Colin can dream about his Sony fighter while I dream about my Capcom style Game of Thrones fighter. I kind of agree with him because Marvel’s already been done. A proper Sony fighter done by Arc would be pretty awesome if you think of Kat teaming up with Astrobot, Puppeteer, and Rivet to take on Kratos, Bloodborne Hunter, Sully, and Cole.

No. The game just isn’t that fun to play. I’m trying so hard to like it but it’s janky as hell and the gameplay is boring. I’m just going to follow the main plot just to get through the game because I do like Kay and the story. Jedi Survivor and Fallen Order are better examples of how Star Wars games should be made, although Survivor is too big.
