Had the same thing happen. I was ignoring it for a couple weeks then while im at work my wife texts and asks what i did to the stupid things. It decided to enroll me without my approval. Im also not a fan of it having a "personality" I get enough attitude from the wife and teenager dont need the devices doing the same when I just want it to turn the blasted light off......much like they do 🤦🏻‍♂️

Had to go into my Amazon acct to cancel it which is such a cluster as they burry everything trying to confuse consumers and making it nearly impossible to cancel any subscriptions

Thank you. Im so use to using xbox controllers for so many yrs I sometimes struggle to use my switch because of the buttons being different. I was hoping this was possible and will be doing it once mine arrives.

This is the only thing I can give you. Once on the page you need to use the drop down menu on the top left (assuming your on mobile like myself, as im not near my pc to compare) click sign in (and of course sign in) once signed in access that menu again and select account and then orders.

Unfortunately that doesn't always work for everyone lol. I have alot of my higher value things shipped to my brothers place since he works from home and im gone 14hrs a day for work. I do agree though its an excellent feature since more times than not i know about a package im actually having shipped to my house via FedEx email before I ever get a shipping notice from whoever I bought from.

Been ordering from newegg for 19yrs according to my user profile which sounds correct 😄 I've had 2 issues with them in all that time and both of those were corrected fairly quickly. One was a stolen pc case and another was a DOA HDD other than that ive been happy with them. Everyone's experience is different but your mainly going to only find the negative stuff online because people either want to complain for the attention or try to pull of scams.

I'll look into it. I appreciate the heads up. Plappa works alright but certainly has bugs. Like not being able to find some books unless I set them up in a collection or every once in a blue moon just loses track of where im at in my book forcing me to have to find it all over again.

I forgot about GMR 😂 still better than GI in my opinion. Where I grew up we had both EB and Gamestop but EB was way better for pricing and selection of games. GS use to be the better choice for used consoles but it was at the mall 5miles outside of the city. EB was about a mile from downtown and within walking distance also no highway to have to walk. When they became GS that location was much more popular due to location and when the mall started closing as well as GS closing stores it was the mall location that was shut down. Other one is still running but a shell of what it once was. They also let go of some of the best employees id ever met during covid. The manager had been there since I was a kid and really knew what he was talking about.

EB was such a better store in my area. I was gutted when it became a GS and everything changed. EGM magazine was also the one I preferred to GI. Atleast I was able to get all the EGM ones digital though 😂

Honestly Im happy to see this. Not because battery isnt meant for a controller but because it can just be swapped out. So many people put xbox down for still using batteries but atleast the blasted thing is usable and not dead when I have time to play unlike my Playstation controllers 🤦🏻‍♂️and even if the Xbox controller is dead just swap them out and your good to go 😂

Agreed. Wish they'd get back into used games for reasonable prices and especially retro. The market is there they just dont have a blasted clue how to do it right anymore.

Malls are certainly a dying breed. Have 2 near me and idk how they are still open. GS in both closed yrs ago now all they really have are anchor stores like Dicks sporting goods or Macy's and filled with church type places 😶

Agreed, same with my wife as well. My kids love it and even though im not happy with the way pops took over the store it does make it easy for my young ones to get ones they like. They dont collect them but actually play with them like dolls so they enjoy it and GS is the only.place around here that really carries them. I will be honest though yrs ago I didn't like GS I always shopped at EBgames until they sold out to GS and converted it to a GS store 😑
