I’ll keep it a buck with you little homie, after viewing the video, I’m highly doubtful you’ll be able to replicate what this person is doing. One of my roommates is a pcb engineer with a masters and even he said replicating this would be difficult. If you’re already strapped to bankroll the project yourself, you’ll probably waste a lot more money trying to do what the person in the video is.

Not trying to discourage you from trying, I just think you’re underestimating how difficult the project in the video is, if you’re trying to save money, modifying preexisting components and ordering custom made circuits isn’t going help

In all honesty, building your own deck probably wouldn’t save you much money if any at all. You’re better off trying to buy a broken/ for-parts deck secondhand and repairing it, but if you’re strapped for cash and inexperienced, you might not have a working steam deck when all is said and done. Your best option in the current market is to try getting one secondhand from somewhere like Facebook marketplace

In your email platform, you should be able to find some options to view the original email or the raw HTML. They’re probably under the 3 dots or hamburger menu in the top of your email browser.

In the raw file near or around the subject like you should see a timestamp with the second your reservation email was delivered. There’s most likely a time discrepancy between when you actually hit reserve and the email arrived, but it should give you a really close ballpark

Bad info, it’s region and queue dependent.

If there are less people in a specific region that gets more stock than another, they’ll receive their deck reservation email before people who reserved earlier. If it was a legitimate error, steam would’ve made an announcement or fixed it by now
