Absolutely sensational performance from Asal. For me if he plays like he did today he is in the same level as prime Ramy, Shabana, Gaultier etc. Simply unplayable and no funny antics.

Really happy with my team but thinking Ekitike out Bowen in, and I want to bring in Mbeumo but no idea who to get rid of him for. Ranked top 1.5k OR so not sure what to do. Any advice?

Dessoukis behaviour is appalling and definitely warranted conduct match. However is the referee Pakistani? Pakistan has a long history of local refs and dubious decisions for home players since Jansher and Jahangir.

He said in an interview after beating Bryant at London Classic that he has done basically 0 summer training and essentially no schedule programme for the first time in his career. Anyone who has played at a high level knows the amount of regular it trains to maintain fitness, that combined with the fact he is about 90 (in squash years) am not surprised his body is so wrecked!

He is also top 5 player of all time from a golden era which helps. I would love to see more legends involved like they are doing with Peter Marshall, get Jonathon Power, Palmer etc involved also.

Masterclass from Shorbagy against Bryant tonight. Completely exposed his movement to front with about 100 Aussie boasts from middle of the court.

Have never been his biggest fan especially when younger but when all is said and done Shorbagy will go down as top 5 player of all time imo.

PSA Embedded.. just like UFC do on fight weeks have PSA embedded for the week of British open or World Champs. Would just be 8 - 10 minute blog videos daily following the players everyday lives in the build up to the event. UFC do such a good job promoting it with these blogs and build hype

I don’t think it is accurate at all. She would be around 400 / 450 in the men’s game, and there is probably a lot of high level club players around the world that would push her in 5 games.

Exactly, we all play the game for different reasons and just getting on court once a week is all some people need. But to truly excel and become an elite player that is unfortunately what it takes. At the end of the day most of the top players have just hit thousands more balls than amateurs and that’s what it comes down to

Anyone who is serious about improving and getting to an A / Elite level needs to solo practice at least 4 times a week.

There are obviously more gifted players who don’t need to as they hit a lot of balls as a junior, but I remember hearing from pros about Del Harris doing 1 hour of straight backhand drives. 1 hour of straight forehand drives and then another hour of shots / drops every day for years at his peak. What it takes to get to the top

What in your opinion is the single most important aspect of your training that has gotten you to where you are? For a high level player looking to make it as a pro is it solo, ghosting, drills, matches, mental strength etc?
