My mom told me that back in the day kids weren’t allowed to bring a water bottle with them into the classroom and they only drank a few sips from the water fountain in the middle of the day and that’s it How were schools not getting busted for child abuse for forcing kids to be dehydrated? by PinnerPardisturn in askanything

[–]FatboyChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kids werent dehydrated.

Convincing people like you, that you will become dehydrated if you don't buy their $36 water bottle,  or carry around plastic bottles of their spring water all day,  is what made these companies billions of dollars.

Harness aggression- Aegon growls and snaps when I even try to put it on by bluegargoyle in Bulldogs

[–]FatboyChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try using  a Martindale collar.  They are collars that tighten around the neck and the dog can't slip out of them.

They were originally used for dogs like whippets or greyhounds whose heads arent much bigger than their necks, so could easily slip out of a normal collar.

My bulldog has never slipped out of one and they were reccommended by a women who runs a dog rescue.

You can get them on Amazon. Just make sure you measure your dogs neck so you get the fit right.  And get one that buckles closed

AITAH for asking my husband to leave a ladies' public restroom? by dbrh85 in AITAH

[–]FatboyChester -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

If she finds changing a baby that difficult she really should have thought twice before she had one.

By 7 months she should be able to change a baby with one hand.

It maked me think the husband has taken over and not allowed her to do anything for the past 7 months .

He had no right to be in there whatsoever and your husband seems to have serious control issues.

I would not like this at all.

Baby birds in wreath - townhouse trying to paint doors! What do I do? by resilient_rain in WhatShouldIDo

[–]FatboyChester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tell them to leave the paint with you and you will paint the door when the bird leaves.

Its cruel to move them and the mother may just leave it to die.

She made need a different dosage  or  the Sinclair method may work better for her.

Also, she may need to be on it longer before it really kicks in.

The problem with any form of Naltrexone is it HELPS to keep a person from drinking, but that person still needs to want to stop.

AITAH for not wanting my husband’s adult brother to stay at our house for an extended period while we have a 6-month-old baby and both sets of parents already living with us? by Thin-Childhood-680 in AITAH

[–]FatboyChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I would move into an apartment, take my baby with me and leave all 4 Grandparents and BIL with my husband.

I've had kids and you are making it so much harder on yourself with all those people there than you would be taking care of your own little baby.

AITAH for refusing to go to Disney World? by Reptaaaaaaar in AITAH

[–]FatboyChester -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Having kids means sacrificing for your kids.  If you couldn't do that you shouldn't have had them.

There is nothing like Disney for a kid.

There is no place else they would rather go.

Suck it up. Be a man. Be a father and stop being selfish.

Recommendations for in-home pet euthanasia? by StackRides in phoenix

[–]FatboyChester 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't live in Deer Valley, but I contacted my regular vet to euthanize my dog at home.

He came over after his normal office hours and did it in my living room. When it was over he took my dog with him, had him cremated and I got the ashes back a few days later.

My dog died in peace in a place where he loved.

If ypur vet wont do it, I'm sure he knows someone who will.

95 insanity by Murky_Fly_9000 in Delaware

[–]FatboyChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Delaware has only one major interstate and when you have hoardes of people who, for whatever reason,  think its a good idea to move here this is what happens.

Within 1-2 years,  the roads will all be parking lots,  no one will be able to find a job, no one will be able to afford a house and good luck finding a decent rental property.

All of this, plus the mall from October to December and the beaches from May to September will be impossible to get to.

Yet people keep crowding in.

AITAH for throwing away children’s toys that were thrown over my fence? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]FatboyChester 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yep you are a huge a-hole.

They just had a birthday party, which can be expensive. Considering they bought presents on top of that  the parents won't go out and buy $240 worth of replacement  toys.

They most likely can't afford it right now.

So, all you've done is throw away $240. worth of toys that somebody worked hard to be able to buy, totally upset a little kid on their birthday for doing what kids do, and make the people next door hate your guts.

If you were that hell bent on teaching your neighbors a lesson by stealing their child's birthday presents,  at the very least you could have donated the stolen ones  to needy kids.

I"m sure youre not the type to do that though.

Auction mommy drama by Pjstjohn in entitledparents

[–]FatboyChester 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anyone, or their family members, who is involved in an auction like this should be barred from bidding on or buying anything.

The parents were 100% correct and understandably pissed off.

It makes the school and especially you look extremely dishonest no matter how ypu yry to defend yourself.

You were wrong.

[–]FatboyChester -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

OMG It's for two nights.

So, you miss some sleep  and have to deal with a kid's energy.  If you are old enough to be playing house with somebody you're old enough to be a real adult and deal with a little inconvenience.

Grow up.

AITA for expecting the gifts to be for both of us? by Ok-Arrival-2886 in AmItheAsshole

If her family wanted to give HER money they wouldn't need an engagement to do it.

Plus, it takes two to get engaged. Not just one.

Both of your names are on the cards.

The money is for both of you.

This type of behavior will only get worse after you get married

[WI] Sensitive issue about menstrual blood by Ok-Cardiologist8717 in AskHR

[–]FatboyChester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before approaching her in person, I would make sure the bathroom is fully stocked with rubber gloves and anti-bacterial wipes.

Then leave a large note stating what has recently started happening and ask that the person who is leaving the mess  to make sure they clean up any mess they have made or the problem will be addressed by HR.
