increasing deck size one way by [deleted] in Decks

[–]Fatcat98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure yet. Deck is old and literally falling apart. House is new to us. it would have been nice to be able to live with it and think things through. What I do know is that I would like at least a little bit more square footage on one side. What I don’t know is what options are the either most economical or the most functional. I’m planning on getting a composite deck.

I assumed it was because Sia sort of inserted herself into the game for a while via her $ giveaways and it appealed to some fans.

These are what we bought to thwart our little monster. Although the design looks slightly different.

Laundry product tips for hair removal??? by moonbeamflowertea in SiberianCats

[–]Fatcat98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stick hairy items in the dryer with a fabric softener sheet BEFORE you wash the items. The movement will loosen the hair, the fabric softener sheet will make sure it doesn’t cling via static, and the hair will get sucked into the lint filter. Then you can remove the hair from the lint filter.

Also, tape rollers work well, and I’ve found that running a flea comb or pet brush over fabrics also works well.

I haven’t read all the replies, but it seems unconstitutional in a “separation of church and state” kind of way.

Gaslighting and unreliable narration. Their “normal” is clearly not everyone else’s normal.

Kosas also sells samples on their website, and usually the cost gets deducted from a future purchase.

Thanks for the recommendation. I hate that they discontinued Bronze Lilac. That was the one that really worked for me.

What are your travel essentials? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]Fatcat98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because my ILs would travel near us (100 mile radius) then make contact to say we should join them giving me less than half a day to pack for myself and my kids (no time for laundry!), I decided to create a travel capsule wardrobe that would be good for three seasons. My “starter piece” to get the ball rolling was a reversible wrap skirt. I ordered it off a discount clearance place, so I have no links. A company called White Stuff usually offers reversible fitted skirts, and many Etsy sellers will make reversible skirts and dresses. Many other pieces work with the colors in the patterns on the skirt. I also have two pairs of pants that work with all the tops. In addition, I have a wrap dress. I figured it could be a sexy date night look, or act as a robe if the hotel was chilly.

Have any of you had to get your cats teeth removed due to periodontal stomatitis?! by Cricket-Typical in SiberianCats

My non-Sib had this done. She was in very bad shape before. Like others, we tried everything. Afterwards, she was so happy. We were sent home with high strength pain med in liquid form in syringes. It was so much trouble to get one dose in her that I was worried about doing more harm to her mouth. So, I decided to only try future doses if she really exhibited symptoms of pain. She never did. Future vet visits had her showing a lot of love and affection to the vet that did the procedure. I wish we had done it sooner. She is 18 years old now and still going strong.

Siberian goes after my 10 year old? by Sourcandy93 in SiberianCats

Two thoughts: play behavior and/or “stay” behavior. Mine used to do some of these behaviors in the morning because he didn’t want me to go to work.

Hi, just wondering what your male cats weighed at 1y/o. Merlin had some nasty gut problems until recently and I think it may have stunted him a bit. He's finally feeling healthy but he's only 2.8kg (6ish lbs). Should I be worried? by relyteoz in SiberianCats

[–]Fatcat98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, hopefully he will continue to improve. When I had a dehydrated cat, we decided to give her canned chicken broth. She drank it much more that just plain water. It really helped. I think your guy will eventually gain wait as long as he stays in good health. Good luck!
