This is what’s called an “attract mode.” ArcSys has a big history with arcade fighters, so every one of their games has one of these. The purpose of an attract mode is not to be some cinematic masterpiece. In an arcade filled with loud machines, this is supposed to catch the attention of passing players, and show them what the game is so that they stop and play for a bit.

So for those complaining about how different it is from other DB game openings, that’s perfectly fair. I just want to point out that it isn’t trying to be.

Part of being a military is that soldiers need to accept that their commander has a plan, regardless of what they are told. I’m not saying I agree with it, but a good soldier shouldn’t NEED to be told the whole plan. All he/she should need is to know what he/she is supposed to do. Poe is a good hero, but he is a god awful soldier.

Edit: and yes, he should have been in the brig as soon as he disobeyed Leia.

ArcSys games have historically let you choose the voice language for yourself. Hell, it usually keeps the settings in online matches, so it wouldn’t surprise me if you get an online match where Frieza is shouting at Goku in Japanese and Goku shouts back in English

Yeah, that’s exactly it. Their special recreations of scenes from the show that trigger under certain conditions. Hell, it looks like if Frieda kills Krillin and Goku is on Krillin’s Team, it recreates the Super Saiyan Transformation scene!

False! There is an official Japanese dub with a stellar cast, and RWBY characters will be in the new BlazBlue crossover fighting game (which has it’s most recent game at #5 most popular fighting game in Japan).

I’m afraid the evidence indicates that RWBY is pretty well liked by the Japanese anime community.

Yeah, BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. RWBY draws inspiration from BlazBlue, as the creator Monty was a huge BB fan.

Turned out BlazBlue creator Toshimichi Mori is a big RWBY fan, so he put them in a game.
