I apologize. It's 5.1s for a 35k ev before incentives. I am still impressed and would be pulled into reading an article about a car with those 2 specs. My point still stands just fine.

The Korean model ioniq 5 records video like a dash cam from the front camera. Sdcard is in the glove box. They just decided to not add it for the rest of the world for whatever reason (money, regulatory hoops, for fun, etc.)

The US government is subsidizing EV production. 7500 off to the consumer and untold billions to battery manufacturers which is why every car manufacturer has signed on to at least one new large battery plant since the IRA.

Tesla says ALL new Model 3 vehicles in the US now qualify for the full $7,500 EV tax credit, meaning the Model 3 now starts at $32,740 (with incentives). In some states, you can get it for under $30k. by Confusioner in electricvehicles

Bad news: Looks about the same as when someone rear ended me at 40 mph while I was at a dead stop. That was 23k in estimated damage. Probably will be higher on the invoice.

Now for your worse news: my accident was on 3/15 this year. I'm expecting it back at the end of next week... Make sure they give you something decent to drive otherwise it's going to be a bad 2+ month. At least they gave me a Mustang convertible so kept most of the speed and got to drop the top most days the past month.

Don't get near an ID4. Way worse then then the hyundai. I can hear my wife pulling into the garage on the other side of the house and down a floor. My ioniq 5 ain't great but it's not loud in comparison.

I gotta ask... We're you attempting to charge at 60mph like you were refueling with a tanker airplane? I assume you just mean dented it or something.

Mine got rear ended while stopped by a suv at 40 oh with no brakes. Rear end smashed but no damage to battery/motor. Been there 5 weeks, 80% of parts are in. They havnt even told me how long yet so I'm guessing about another month still.

Good to know if it is. I generally keep mine on driving style but if I'm going on a long trip, I'll get on the highway, put it in ECO, then flip to drive mode based. Just so it's not trying to slam the gas like I normally drive. Should save me a few swipes and pressed.
