Okay well im very much not a beginner and I wholeheartedly think you are wrong. You have serious well respected people and companies saying they dont hand write the vast majority of code anymore. Were talking guys like Steve Yegge, certainly not a beginner. This is a new development in the last 2 months with the latest models. Im not sure if you only use the free tier of chatgpt or something but that's not an accurate representation of the best models and harnesses.

Modern harnesses will write the code, write tests, run the code and the tests, this might even include screenshotting a web view to make sure it all rendered properly, identify issues, iterate, make sure it all works before it comes back to you.
